EA/DICE are seething, they might have to actually make a good game for once but honestly I hope they don't so this game becomes the most popular 'battlefield' game like it deserves to be

I hate this game.

Fun but DLC way overpriced

this game should be free if the devs aren't willing to work on it anymore, especially since they now expect the community to work on it for no compensation whatsoever

Good if you like grinding and you play with friends.

NPCs are neat and needed, but are not as interesting as earlier Fallout games. They definitely don't serve in the place of other humans. Also, it is sometimes really difficult to be on your own, but it seems like they fixed the under-leveling problem for the most part.

Looting feels more interesting to me than previous games as there are loot tables that feel more randomized and loot seems to respawn after a shorter period of time (you will be in certain areas many times, so this is nice). One bad thing about looting is you will most certainly run out of ammo if you use an uncommon ammo type, unless you know exactly where to find it and revisit a LOT. Even 10mm is hard to find and certain weapons absolutely blow through it.

Overall, I like this game, but I recognize it isn't for everyone. I would compare 76 to other Fallout games as similar to the Skyrim/ESO difference. Definitely not a traditional Fallout game, but contains a lot of aspects I like from Fallout (Fallout 4 mostly) as well as ones I like from MMO-style games. There are many small things I would change, and a few really annoying bugs. I also do not like the microtransaction element Bethesda put in for some idiot reason.

I originally slept on this game, but I definitely would recommend it now; as long as you go in not expecting another traditional Fallout game.

and I thought Escape From Tarkov had a learning curve

Never before have I listened to 4 different Kenny Loggins songs at the same time while doing drive-bys on other companies. Excellent game.
