The only justification for this dlc to exist is if it was a free expansion. The new ridden hive "activity" marketed as a new game mode is a short lived segment placed inside the already terribly designed campaigns that offers very little actual reward for completing, which you do not even have to purchase in order to experience, if you have a friend who has purchased the dlc already. The new currency of totems in the supply lines are ridiculously overpriced in exchange for new cards, lazy skins for weapons and horrendous looking cosmetics for the cleaners. New cleaners do not receive any cosmetics off the bat for purchasing the expansion unlike all the other characters and even the designs of those are very underwhelming. The "new" ridden is yet another variant of the ridden we already have. Added a new difficulty, which after playing nightmare as impossible as that is I can only imagine how un-fun and frustrating it will be. All of this on top of all the design flaws that back 4 blood already has insults me as a die hard fan of the left 4 dead series. This game has convinced me that turtle rock has never understood good game design and will continue to spit in the face of those who came to love the masterpiece valve has created with left 4 dead.

I dub thee mediocre at best.
