This was an experience more so than a game. The gameplay on offer is a little rough around the edges at times, but serves well enough to allow you to enjoy the experience. In terms of length, I think the game is about right - it doesn't overstay its welcome nor does it leave you wishing there was more.

The story itself is not revolutionary, but one that presents itself greater than it is thanks to the sum of all the game's parts. The visual design is excellent, with near flawless presentation; I can't recall any time where I was upset or pulled out of the game thanks to a visual bug. The audio differentiates this game from many others, offering a unique, and from what I understand, well researched glimpse into what it might be like to experience psychosis.

I could go on, but to keep it short: this is an audio/visual experience well worth your time if the setting seems at all appealing to you. A small disclaimer too: this game is certainly not for everyone. If you struggle to find yourself interested by the trailers, then perhaps it's not for you, and that's fine too.

If you do pick it up, absolutely wear headphones to get the most out of it and strap in for the ride. Not many games sit with me after I finish them and goad me into writing reviews, but this was one of the few that have.
