This is an extremely well done remake of a classic RPG. The amount of Quality of Life buffs in this game is INSANE. So many features and extras added that made an already great gaming experience more seamless, and more fun. Adding new minigames, new skills, tweaking weaker characters, a new voiceover, specialty skills to make the more tedious parts of the original like grinding levels much faster, and so much more. I highly recommend buying this game, to show Tri-Ace that this series was worth their time to have Gemdrops remake, and yours.

If they do a remake of Star Ocean: 'Till the End of Time and it is anywhere near as good as this one, I will buy it day one.

If you like RPGs, buy this game. You will not regret a penny spent.

The first fighting game that is finished and with full features and game modes in literally years. Please hold other big name fighting game developers to this standard in the future and purchase this game to support devs who actually care about delivering you a finished, quality product.

The game play is also very good, with a variety of single and multiplayer modes to choose from. It keeps core KoF game play intact while spicing it up, but not going overboard with seemingly random mechanics that disrupt the pacing of the match like a lot of other games. Netplay is also very solid. Only really experience heavy disruption when playing against people from halfway across the world, or someone very obviously on WiFi.

The roster is good as well with a solid representation of character types and play styles, the devs are constantly patching and improving on the minor bugs, and are releasing DLC teams regularly. SNK supports their titles for a long time, even if they don't do so well. With that being said, you can expect good things from the future regarding their newest flagship title, from their most well known IP.

All in all I am very pleased with the overall package and my purchase of this video game, and I haven't felt that way about a new game, much less a fighting game in quite some time. New to fighting games or no, I would give this game a shot.
