The Showdown Effect is my only love.
Here's why:
The game is completely skill based.
It has unique feel to it, the 80s theme is amazing, and the original crosshair idea make the game unforgetable.
Variety of moves: Climb,jump,roll,dive,grab, fight.! You can do almost everything!
Weapon variety: shotguns, pistols,smg,swords,machineguns,rifles,knives,RPGs. Evry weapon feel different, because it is different, The game let's you choose two guns at once, letting you combine different sorts of weapons.
Character variety: the game can offer 10 characters,evryone cliche as hell and with a special ability. Hank Stream, SWAT agent and a family man throws grenades. Mr. Shur Foo, chinese kung-fu master dragon kicks you in the face and so on.
Maps: The Maps are beautiful! Really, so much effort was put into those! Also,about maps, there are three types of weapons lying on every map. Light- good for throwing,close range,little dmg and very fast; Medium- like a normal sword, but less damage; Heavy- really slow and huge things which kill with one hit;Blockers- very little damage, but a huge blockbar(when it runs out you get stunned).


As much as i love the game it has some huuuuuge minuses:
Really bad connection issues: if you don't find a good host you are bound to freeze and lag like a madman.

Really small community, but a very pleasant one: the issue aboves scared off almost everyone, except us, a buncha guys with 400+ hours who constantly play the game.

Conclusion:
So,6 pluses, 2 minuses,but big ones. What's it gonna be?
