Quite a few physics improvements over the original Assetto Corsa - more complex tyre model, better aero, chassis flex simulation and an impressive implementation of changing weather conditions, with great rain effects that have a believable effect on the driving.

Overall it feels great on my T300 and it has been my main sim ever since it came out. In my experience the online public lobbies have, on average, better drivers that what you'll usually find on the public lobbies on other sims, probably because of the rating system, and there's also official competitive servers only available for those with an high enough safety rating.

For those who love modern GT cars I would say ACC is a no-brainer, but if you want more variety on classes and tracks you should look elsewhere. ACC is the official GT World Challenge sim so there's only GT cars in it.

Quite a nice upgrade from the first DR. On launch the FFB was disappointing, but since then it has been updated and now it feels absolutely awesome and better than DR1 on my T300. The physics feel much more weighty and gravity-bound compared with the "floatiness" of DR1, which for me feels much more believable and engaging to drive.

The tarmac physics however are still just "ok" and pale in comparison with the loose surface physics, but it's not a problem for me since I spend 99% of my time with this game driving on loose surfaces, and on those this is an absolute pleasure to drive. It can also be quite frustrating sometimes since keeping the car on track at high speeds requires quite a lot of skill and concentration, but that only makes your good results feel all the more rewarding.

The fact that they released remakes of the original stages from the first game as DLC has made quite a lot of people angry, but I like it. The prices are fair (even more now) and I loved the stages in DR1 so I sure like to have the opportunity to drive them again with the improved physics of this game.

My only issue with DR2 is the need to constantly access the Codemaster servers even to play the "offline" career. A few (rare) times the servers have been down, making it impossible for me to play the career. Not cool, but even then I enjoy the game too much to let that negative point affect my overall opinion.
