Hot garbage with outdated everything.If you haven't played this as a kid chances are you wont like it since there are plenty of alternatives that execute the core gameplay loop miles better.

-Lacklustre combat
-graphics are abysmal
-movement feels like a slug that's been raped repeatedly with a salted ♥♥♥♥ and left to die in agony.
-skill system boils down to repeating the same action 1000 times. That's it.

It might have been fun 15-20 years ago but now its a cheap money grab with devs failing to come up with any new ideas.

Hands down one of the best gaming experiences out there.World is engaging and together with interesting mechanics makes the whole adventure unforgettable (best played with friends).
All these PvE frogs giving bad reviews make me sick.Its a pirate game,not a mating simulator.Im not going to sing kumbaya with you next to a campfire.I'd rather backstab your stupid alliance and bash your head in with my gunstock while stealing your loot.See you on the seas!

This game does everything but does it mediocre.


If you want a good FPS get Counter Strike,

if you want tactics -Rainbox Six 3.

if you want to follow a good esports scene - Counter Strike.

if you want stupid memes and cancer - get this game.

Game for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who cant afford Overwatch.Also they ripped of every character from different games.Good job.

Game is made for single minded idiots with 3 braincells,mechanics are sluggish,game isnt fun and combat feels like ♥♥♥♥.Even for a free to play game it costs too much.Devs are going to burn in hell.♥♥♥♥ esport too.

Base of the game is really fun and i can imagine myself sinking loads of hours into it,champion special abilities,although not so terrible as it seems,still dont fit into a quake game and slightly take away from the nostalgic feeling of its predecessors ,moreover, as of now, there are little to no players therefor matchmaking suffers alot.Also the addition of cosmetics and lootboxes completely kill quake's distinctively violent and brutal tone.Watching a dude covered in neon blue colour jumping around with deer horns on his helmet doesnt fit in at all.It makes me believe that this game might be hitting the market as free-to-play when it eventually gets finished(that is if they dont abandon it) to appeal for the more casual audience.
Another red flag is that if you have the base version of the game,you cannot unlock other champions via progression,only way to get them is to spend money,so if you really want it,buy champions pack p.s. i strongly advise not to buy it now and wait for its initial release which is either - free to play transition or some kind of rework of how you progress and unlock champions.

3.7 out of 6.2 , if the devs listen to their playerbase and fix existing problems.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game, dont waste your money on this ♥♥♥♥.Just put it like this- if you have spare 30 bucks it would be wiser to just stick it up your ♥♥♥♥♥♥.e than buy dayz.

To sum things up about this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game:

1.Visually speaking it looks completely bland and tasteless,after a few games you understand that there is nothing spectacular or remotely interesting about the map.

2.gameplay consists of: 50% running, 30% looting, 19% driving, 1 % actual gunfights.

3.The fact that devs want to push this game as an esport is beyond any logic. Game has so many randomized factors which do not fit into a classic esport title( where gameplay enviroment has been set in a pre-determined state so that all players are on even playing fields and have even chance of winning and showing off their skill(Csgo for example)).

4. And of course the inclusion of microtransactions.Devs stated thay they will NOT implement any sort of skins etc but broke their promise,so ♥♥♥♥ those greedy ♥♥♥♥♥.

5.Community is getting more toxic day by day.

8 perks/classes,alot of maps,weapons and unlimited possibilities.I love this game despite people bashing on it and it's devs.Why should i write a negative review if i'm enjoying the game?Yes,it has some flaws but the core gameplay hasn't changed.Still fun!

This is pure gold.A masterpiece,hidden gem,the era of golden shooters in its glory.I would recommend this game to everyone but mostly my friends,since you can play this online or lan and thats where this game shines.Controls are perfect,the realism is there,its just pure awesome.and the multiplayer(yes,it still works,ppl play it) is so fun and challenging that you will spend hours trying to finish one map.Get this!!!!!!!!!!
