Out of all the Paradox games, this one has become my absolute favourite. It's such a shame that it was abandoned, though huge thanks to the amazing team behind the Invictus mod who have added an insane amount of content to the game and are essentially the developers of the game now. Don't be put off by the mixed reviews, most of them were written prior to the 2.0 Marius update, which completely overhauled the game and fixed most of the problems. Paired with the Invictus mod, it's easily the best Paradox game and I hope that they resume development on it.
