Crafting, Adventuring, Building - Broody Vampire Sandbox with RPG elements that easily sinks you into hours of grinding, fighting, and (mostly) linear progression, giving you lots of different things you can focus on, and a /nice/ little PVP scene too - I mainly play PVE.

Tons of bosses, gameplay customization, and adjustable difficulty for added or reduced challenge. Stylistically lovely. The isometric view is sometimes a gripe of mine, as I wish it was a little more MMO style, but it offers it's own unique effect on gameplay when it comes to abusing camera angles and evading enemies.

The grind can be intense if you're not as time bloated as I am, so be sure to adjust those settings for your personal tastes.

The level with which you can customize and decorate your castles is honestly impressive - and I'd never complain for more.

This game was already playable long before full release, but the full release leaves me pleased with the result - I haven't fully managed to get all the way through the most up to date content, but I'm about 80% of the way there and am pleased that the game slows my progress down enough to let me sit a little longer at each tier / stage of game progress these days, as once you get through the linear progression, there's very little else there to keep you playing aside from farming for better servants/blood and decorating - or managing soul shards and dominating in PVP once you've gotten end game gear. (To my current knowledge)

Similar to Terraria, if you're anything like me, you'll be playing this game's progression multiple times in multiple servers with multiple variations of friends, and honestly, it's pretty fun each time. Though arguments could be made that once you've completed everything it challenges you with, there's not as much there to keep you playing, keep in mind that what it DOES give you is robust, quality, and a damn decent amount of entertainment to make your money worth it.

Honestly, I wish I had all the DLC - Im a sucker for cosmetics, and they really add to what you can play with when it comes to your game's visuals. Future gift ideas for my friends, perhaps?

Highly recommend if you enjoy games like Stardew or Terriara and Hack n' Slash combat with Gothic aesthetics and a touch of bloodsucking Vampire domination. It's totally not slavery! They want to be here! (eventually...)

They really hit an addictive niche here with this game, and I look forward to exhausting what it has to offer until I burn myself out.
