So I have a couple of hours now in the game and here is my review for now.

You start your training on the planet Mars in one of many training facilities for Helldivers to earn your cape and then be turned into a frozen fish finger and shipped to your designated destroyer.

From there you can start playing with friends imediatly by joining or inviting them. You can also play alone or with randoms. You have free control over where you drop, what your loadout is and what kind of support call-ins you want to take with you ranging from a basic supply backpack over minigun turrets to 500kg bombs and diverse orbital barrages.
This means there are no fixed classes. You create your own.

The community in general is... as diverse as the stars in that galaxy. Most are helpful, some are acceptable dissidents and one or two among us are absolute nutjobs charging at a tank with a 1903 and a bayonet screaming into their microphone "FOR DEMOCRAZY!!!" so the social interaction alone will never make this game get boring.

Arrowhead studios please give us C4 like equipment I want to become a true martyr and blow myself up on a factory strider *Ahem*

Anyway enlist now and fight with us for liberty and managed democra- ARGH!

I died as many times as the other players combined but still came in first place 10/10

I played this game a few hours and although it isn´t finished I really like it so far.

It is very simple and friendly to casual gamers but also adjustable in difficulty for those who seek a little bit of a challenge. The level design is also very simple yet beautiful in its own way. It´s not as good as other AAA studios graphics but considering the developer studios manpower it´s impressive how far it has come.

The train is the heart of the game and I felt it. You can design your train as you like. You want an armory in the entrence of your first cart? No problem. Craft some shelves and a few lockers and get to it. You want a living area in the back but a garden on top? Also no problem! The train is yours to design as long as you can get the ressources.

But be careful if you crash your train into any obstacles it´s game over (I totally did not test it)

Things that are to come like coop, NPCs and more levels will keep me coming back to this game 100%

Around 9 human crusades later and those elves are still alive. Might drope a nuke on them tomorrow. Long live the dwarfs!!

This game is torture... the good kind not the bad kind...

Did you have a terrible day at work where you got yelled at or blamed for something and got rage that you can´t let go?

Play Hell Architect!
Grab one of your sinners and put them into one of the spikey Iron Maiden.

Did your Girlfriend cheat on you and you know she hates the dentist? No problem! Let one of your sinners have a hell of an appointment at the dentist over and over again with a giant drill. There are almost no limits to making people suffer.

The best part is that more content will probably be added including name changes for more "realism".
You will have lots of fun with scenarios and sandbox mode. A fantastic tutorial will help you fitting into your new job.

Being bad never felt so good.

PS: Dear developers please add Rick rolls as a torture.

10/10 would recommend again

Awesome games like back in the days. Coming home from school, starting your pc and the first thing you do is playing The Last Stand. My favorite is Union City but right now I can´t play it because of to many bugs. I hope Con Artist will fix this and add the console as they did in the alpha appearently so I can spawn items to play as whoever I want (Soldier, HERC, etc.) from start to end because the job description isn´tr enough for me. The bugs aside I can 100% recommend this game collection to everyone who is into zombies or who enjoyed this when it was a flashgame.
