That's a problem to do with the game, ever since a major update sometime last year a large number of my builds were broken because of how they handled the fuel and air inputs for the engines. You can always turn on infinite fuel and that solves the problem.
There's a relatively easy fix involving changing the output to the fuel manifold to be around 0.8x that of the air manifold, but I'm too lazy to update all those old builds.
