Played around 13.9 hours in the beta, as well as 31.7+ hours as of present.
May update this review as more comes out; but for now...

Century is a dog-fighting game where instead of aeroplanes you are fighting on dragonback.

This game as of 2021-13-15 (Time of review written) has 3 classes.

Marauder - A DPS-centric class focused on dishing out damage in quick succession.
Phantom - A 'stealth' class focused on trap-setting and dealing bursts of high damage.
Windguard - A support class focused on buffing allies and area-control rather than damage.

Marauder and Phantom are both fairly balanced, and of the three have the most options for avoiding taking damage from other players.
Windguard could use some work on its defence tactics, but as of right now it is top tier when it comes to supporting the rest of the team.

These are the gameplay pros / cons I've noted so far. Keep in mind I play primarily using controller, and highly recommend you do as well for the best experience.
Gameplay Pros
- Controls smoothly, and controls are very reactive making it easy to react quickly in combat situations.
- Graphics are incredibly gorgeous, especially for a F2P game.
- As of right now, not P2W. Only thing you'll really be spending money on are optional cosmetics and XP boosters if you're looking to level up faster. (Said XP boosters also provide boosts to players not using one.)
- Decent variety of skins, though expect to see the same legendary skins a lot as there are very few currently.
- Targeting is simplistic and easy to grasp.
- Learning curve is fairly low, with controls being easy to get a handle on.
- Matchmaking times are fairly quick.
- Very easy to get in game and play matches with friends.
- Your in-game stats are easy to locate and look at on your in-game profile.
- Levelling is easy to accomplish, you can easily make 2000+ XP per 5 minute match.

Gameplay Cons
- Matchmaking is quite random and you'll often end up with unbalanced teams.
- Few options for dealing with opponent's close quarters firebreath.
- Currently no way of earning skins for free aside from levelling.
- Early-leaving penalty is a bit broken, and can penalize you for crashing mid-game.
- Currently no way of rejoining a match if your game has crashed / your connection was lost.
- When equipping cosmetics, previews/icons are only visible within the menus and not when you're viewing your rider / dragon as a whole.

As a whole I've thoroughly enjoyed Century from beta to its current release, and look forwards to what the developers do with the game in the future.
