I've heard tons of complaints about bugs, and tons of people whining about latency on the servers, and oodles and oodles of people saying that you have to have a russian super computer to run this.

Honestly, it is a great game.
You can play 300 matches, and every one of them would be different.
You have an unlimited amount of options and choices.
It is a work of art in that respect.

It was released from Early Access. Frankly, I think that was the wrong choice on the part of the developers, and a power grab for the position of "Best of Battle Royal Games." In doing this, there are a few bugs. Honestly, they are mediocre nuisances at best. The absolute worst bug is that sometimes if you are driving a motorcycle with a buggy, (and thats only 1 of 7 vehicles you can drive) you have a chance to explode but only if you crash into something. And honestly, while playing with friends, it is hilarious and absurd if it ever happens to you. (I've played around 35 hours and it has happened one time to me.)

Is it the best Battle Royal game? In my opinion, yes.

Arma 3 can become way too realistic, and have far too many niche players that instanly kill you.
Fortnite is far too cartoony, and characters can only run across the entire map.
I feel PUBG finds a good balance of the two, with enough realism to hit the hearts of real war fans, but enough style and action elements to inspire those who love explosions to drive around in a van shouting "TAKE OFF YOUR PANTS" and throwing grenades at other people's vehicles.

Honestly, if you're thinking about buying this game, do it.
Alone, it can be a little boring, but with friends you can either play to win, or never stop laughing with the 100 person hilarity that ensues.

We have plenty of people who are always in game.

PROS:
Great controls,
nearly no lag,
awesome graphics,
great map design,
weapons are responsive,
well made GUI and easy to understand,
Easy to run on almost all computers,
Innovative concepts not seen before in other ZSGs,
Well done AI, zombies have sense of sight, sound, and smell.
Clever zombie spacing, alerting one may not alert others unless it begins to make big noises, or you fire a weapon to kill it.

CONS:
Nobody plays it.
Ded gaem.

Don't let my time in this game fool you. I've spent well on the upwards of 200 hours in this game, I've unlocked every acheivement, character, and item. This is one of my favorite games ever. Great multiplayer, great single player, awesome long game experience, fast paced quick lunch break game. Whatever you want it to be, this game has your balance. If you buy this game, Good Luck. You're going to die. A lot.

I just bought this recently for PC, because I used to have it for the PS2. When I was younger, I would spend hours and hours infront of the TV, playing Battlefront II. I would be on Endor, travel to Geonosis, attack the immortal Jabba the Hutt, speed around in an A-Wing over Hoth, and I've even taken down a few Walkers in my time. I look at this game, and I remember when Pandemic's only goal was to make more. More for the player to enjoy, more maps, more tiny secrets, more everything. Then I look at Battlefront for the PS4. You get 1/4 of a game, with 3/4 as DLC.

Do I recommend this game?
If I had to choose one game to play for the rest of my life, this would be it.
10/10 Best game in any Galaxy, far far away.

It's OK.

This game is a gem. It has a nice campaign, long enough to keep you interested for a long time, it has good replayability, because of the semi-randomness in the campaign, and it has good multiplayer. I would by it ten more times if I was given the option. Worth every cent.

I have owned this game for almost a full year. Don't let my time in it fool you. I have played easily 200+ hours of this game.

Pros:
Free
Great Multiplayer
Great building mechanics
Huge crafting system
Large array of weapons
Large array of weapon attachments
Moderatley large world
Cars are in the game, making travel easier
level system

Cons:
Crafting system is too complicated. It is necessary to have the wiki open at all times.
Cannot store items in cars.
Cars have very little diversity
Once a car is lost in one game, it is never retrievable.
You can have the best gear in the game almost instantly, by going to the Military base, and re-logging until good items spawn in. This causes for many OP people on public servers.
Until you upgrade your Survival skill, you must have a farm and a canteen or you will not survive.


Frankly, it is a hard game. If you play this game and just want a fun, savage release of energy, and then you die, it is perfect for you. If you want to survive and thrive in a single player world, you WILL have a hard time until you get good gear and the farm + canteen combo.

In multiplayer, you will not find a single better game for free. This is the best multiplayer I have ever seen on a free game in my life. (And thats saying something!) I have played an 8.5 hour game on a server once with two friends, and by the finish, we didn't want to stop. Not a single bump along the road (gameplay wise) and we ended our session by building a large base, gaining good weapons, saving the world file, then turning on PVP and destroying everything. It was a blast, (pun intended) and we got to put the world right back in and continue playing later.

Overall, I would rate this game a 7/10. This is a great game, and I would love to see some new things put into it.

New things that would be nice:

+ Much larger map with more islands and more towns. (Im talking really big, like, the bridge is no longer closed off.)
Airplanes or helicopters that may be built or stolen from the airport.

+ MOAR MAPS.
Maybe a City map, where there is a large city with big buildings and such, and there are sometimes helicopters that spawn on rich people's helipads.
Maybe war map.
Something where Desert armour and Forest armour may be used to their full potential.
Perhaps a map in the desert? Im sure there are zombies in the desert. Probably.

+ Also, vehicles should be able to carry things. You can throw another backpack where someone may sit, or hey, get some bungee cords and strap your junnk to the top of Mom's station wagon.
With that, vehicle diversity. It'd be nice to have many different types of cars.

All In all, with the building techniques of Rust, the survival of DayZ, and the pure fun of Roblox, this is the perfect free game on the market for all people. (Just needs a few updates maybe.)
