Had to refund it the moment the game asked me to clean up my ship

With a multitude of game breaking bugs even 1 year after "release" as well as very poor performance (while looking just tiny bit better than heavily modded KSP1) I can't recommend anyone play this over the original in its current state. This is not just early access, this is an alpha build. I have not had 1 session where I dont't encounte some sort of game breaking glitch

Amazing game, however, since this morning my gamepad stopped working in it. The gamepad is fine, works perfectly in all other games.( using a logitech f310 btw). Looked it up online, seems to be a fairly common issue and none of the solutions there helped me. It'a shame that such a good game gets ruined by an issue that seems fairly easy to fix on the part of the devs, so to me it looks like they don't really care.

Edit/update. Problem seems to be fixed now, hopefully not gonna come up again. Buy this, it's great fun, only drawback i see is that there aren't many people playing online right now

Do not buy this game. Buy it when it's at the very least not broken enough to be playable. To me, it's unacceptable for a developer of such a huge game to have it in such a broken state. Lag is huge, textures don't render, things clip though everything and so many more.

Literally can't find me a game online and it generally feels unresponsive as hell. I say wait until the official release, or at least a few more months because this feels like an alpha, and not even a good one at that

I probably played through less than half of the main game at the time of writing, but I'm confident enough that the rest of the game is just as good. So here it is, in short: It's got that true DS feeling, just like the first one, it's(imo) even harder thena the original and the combat is amazing. It's faster, it feels better, it flows better, all while retaining that feeling of being at a constant disatvantage that you can overcome if you play your cards right. The story uses the first game as a crotch a bit more than I'd like, but nothing terrible. The graphics are alright, nothing too fancy by today's standards, however the lighting is really well done. The music is breathtaking. I would say it's not a great idea to play this as a a souls newbie, maybe start with the first game and skip the second(which is actually good as an oridnary game, but ♥♥♥♥ as a souls game). In short, it's a masterpiece and I can't wait to sink a few hundred hours into it, just like I did with the previous ones.

Im not crazy for horror games but damn this was amazing

This game is really good at creating a fairytale atmosphere. The story(which is a fairytale, of course), the music, the graphics style all contribute to this amazing atmosphere, leading to a lot of immersion for a sidescroller. However, the immersion is kind of broken by the gameplay, as the puzzles(or are they not intended to be puzzles?) are beyond easy and the fights are downright boring. The characters are almost lifeless due to the voice actors who are mediocre at best. In spite of all its downsides, Trine 2 is a pretty decent game(not near as good as the first though), making for a bit of fun with friends if you have nothing better to do, as the single player is truly boring, as the story, although not very bad(pretty much a fairytale template though), is presented quite poorly, making it quite unengaging. Still, it's a decent game overall, I can't say that I wouldn't recommend it.
