After hearing the next half-life game was coming in VR I was very interested and was that little bit that pushed me into finally getting VR.
Starting with the bad:
- Some minor bugs/soft locks
- Some items/bodies just get stuck into walls or doors
- Slight FPS issues in super wide open areas
- Finished in about 12 hours (think people average around 15?) which isnt bad but not super long
Good: All in all this was a pretty great experience. The atmosphere, music, environment etc. felt great especially while in VR. Visually stunning especially if playing with an index setup. Picking things up felt great with the gloves and made sense lore wise.
Story: The main reason this game was so good was the story. Gives a lot of background information into the Half-life world and sets it up greatly for future games. Without spoiling the ending is fantastic and is one of those "oh ♥♥♥♥" moments.
10/10 instead of 11 cause valve still cant count to 3

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful. The animation and art is stellar but the sound is what really throws it above and beyond. I tried my best to only play bits and pieces at a time so that I could enjoy it over several days. My only complaint is how short of a game it is and possibly the price.

I don't usually review things seriously, but what the hell.
Let me start by saying if you are considering buying this. JUST DO IT.
Life Is Strange is an incredibly immersive experience into one teenager's life, Max. It boasts arguably the best soundtrack i've ever heard in a game and places several memes scattered throughout the game to poke fun at a character or element in the story. My favorite feature is the numerous "check points" that allow you to sit down, listen to the enviornment and just take a breather from the heavy story. The story is sooo freakin good... I just... can't.. anymore... if you finish this game you won't be able to either. I've very rarely been able to attach myself to a character in a video game as much as i did in this one. This game easily toyed with my emotions and literally made me furious, sad, ecstatic, and then sad again in about 10 minutes. All aboard the feels train... toot toot....

Literally the only complaint that I and everyone else has is the fact that your decisions don't impact the game as much as we would have wanted it to... and that I can't replay it.

All in all, 10/10, 11/10 with rice.
