The game is absolute ridiculous fun, so long as you have the PC to run it.

The MTX is the same token stuff as it has been with most Capcom releases like with Monster Hunter and a few of their other non-pvp games. Annoying that it exists at all, but ultimately doesn't really do anything to harm the game. (outside of the one portcrystal purchase which really should just be replaced by having a permanent portcrystal in bakbattahl, since most people are going to have one there anyways)

Outside of that, the game is extremely fun to play, with a living, breathing, fully simulated world that rewards any players with keen eyes, no griffon attack is a surprise if you actually pay attention to the skies, and those who read descriptions and look for more knowledge are often rewarded by paths to better endings for quests, or possibly even the chance to make an ending for a quest intentionally worse, if that's the way you want to go, like producing fake copies of important items for people and fooling them with those copies to get the quest rewards and keeping the item to yourself, even if that item doesn't have a lot of inherent value.

I've played only 2 hours of this game at the time of writing and yet I think this is the most fun 2 hours I've ever had and I'll be playing it much longer after I finish this review. The first impression this game has given me is a great one and I HIGHLY recommend it, it's so worth the 12 bucks I paid for it.

I have to say, this game is great for anybody who loves to build, loves 2D style games and also loves making their own story. This game is easily moddable making it time consuming even after you have had everything, because you also now have to get more with any mods you add. I love this game!
