The old woman was frail and innocent, but she had to die. I needed to win the approval of the common people or they would storm the building and lop my head off. So the sweet old lady had her head cut off instead.

If you enjoy Revolutionary France, this game is for you. A knowledge of the period greatly can help you understand some of the more nuanced cases.

We. The Revolution is a wonderful game of balance. You must weigh the opinions of your family members, your rivals, the common people, the revolutionaries, and more. With a superb art-style to go along, this game is emotional and powerful. The only critique is that some of the voice acting doesn't appear to hold up as well compared to the rest of the game.

After modding this game, it is one of my favorite total war games, second only to Medieval II. Highly recommended.
