Help! 100 hours in and I am trapped in a maze of conveyor belts with my sword the size of my.... well...... you know I really enjoyed this game. The best part of every game combined into one game. I would say it "jack of all trades" a bit but what it lacks in one thing it does something absolutely ridiculous some place else. Get it. Play it. Enjoy it. My compliments to the chef..... Carl Out!

Update Season 5:

After the most recent season 5 patch I can say we are not in Last Oasis anymore.
Walker uploading, Moving bases and Burning servers all gone.
Player progression is minimal only focusing on stats.
Skill trees have become reliant on RNG by way of blueprints crafting the most basic of structures.

Forced PVE isn't good PVE. Don't make me kill hundreds of Rupu to craft some gear.

Bring back player skill trees that actually have a purpose and require you to achieve something. Tablet farming may not have been perfect but it is far better than blueprint hunting to make some wood walls.
Bring back walker uploads
Bring back walker base packing.

If you want to focus on PVE that is fine but don't break the things that made you different from other survivals.




Original Review:

Although it says I have some 20 hours in game it is inaccurate. As you probably have read severs have been a mess since launch. Due to this I have only actually played for about 3 hours.

The take away... The game is actually really really good. Controls are smooth, building on par with other games and the walker concept works well. Oddly enough the actual game severs (not the backend servers they are having issues with) seemed to be fairly stable. During my adventures in 2 severs I experienced very little lag issues while the sever was full. I think this game has a lot of promise and would suggest it if you are looking for a new survival game. It is very PvP focused don't expect a nice soft base building sim.

PS... Most negative reviews will be about the sever and refunds... I would imagine if you are reading this you understand the situation. Do your research and understand where they stand with everything. Good Luck.

I really enjoy this game for the following reasons... Wipes don't sting, Grind isn't terrible and yet still has that risk reward rush you get with many survival games. On the community side... don't bother if you care. People are terrible and toxic.
