This game was once the chosen one. I stepped away for a few months, and upon returning after the V6 update, I found that they've ruined the core gameplay.

How did they F**K it up so badly and so quickly?

Running feels like trudging through mud. You can't shoot after running because it feels like your character is experiencing some kind of stroke.

Moreover, aiming down the scope is a challenge due to the badly implemented picture-in-picture (PIP) feature. Why isn't PIP an optional setting? Games that include it usually allow players to turn it off, and it's frustrating that this update doesn't offer that choice.

Suppression in this game was always a thing and it was reasonable, putting a bit of pressure on you but still allowing you to have fun fighting back. Now, if someone fires a pistol at you, your character, who is a highly trained soldier, reacts as if he's having another stoke and dies. Do you know where those bullets came from? No. Do you have any idea what is going on? No. Is it fun? No. Why? Because I can't see the game due to my character shaking so badly that it seems like he's having an epileptic fit and passing out. How is that fun gameplay? Squad developers used to not take it's self to seriously understand It's still a game and has to be fun.

Originally, this game aimed to bridge the gap between Arma and Battlefield. It used to run smoothly, strike a balance between realism and arcade play, and boasted fantastic team dynamics. There were a few bugs, but it was enjoyable. Now, it feels like a clunky, slow mess that's trying too hard to be Arma. The problem is, it's not Arma. When Arma 4 comes out, it will overshadow Squad, and the game will likely die. This saddens me after investing 4,700 hours in this game.

The developers used to value the input of the core community that helped foster this game's growth. I was part of that community, and it feels like they've disregarded us entirely. It's as if they've shown a complete lack of care and consideration for what the core community enjoyed.
They choose to make the changes and and said if you do not like it play something else, seriously wtf.

I have seen new players come and go, clans become too big and collapse, but the core groups always stuck with it. This is the first time that the core has stopped playing.

I've been around since before vehicles were introduced. Back then, running the entire map only to get shot and respawn was somehow more enjoyable than this V6 update.

The bugs, the rampant spawn killing on maps like Operation First Light, and the lengthy distances spent running were fun because, in a firefight, your skill could get you out of a dire situation. However, the current state of the game seems to discourage skill, aggression in taking positions, and instead promotes hiding in corners and setting up camp. This was never the core mechanic that everyone enjoyed. Working as a team to secure positions was what everyone cherished.

Veterans of this game will understand the struggle of attempting to convince squad leaders to defend. Nobody wanted to do it because it was considered boring, and now, it's become the main focus.

Please fix this game, or can someone bring out a mod negating the damage the devs have done.

Wait for Arma 4, do not get this game unless they fix the glaring issue

I got this so I could look at my live stream chat, I have stream labs set up on my wrist so I can easily see my chat and see if there are any problems with the stream.
Have used this with HTC Vive wands and now the index knuckles
10/10 works like a charm

1 issue it can be a little clunky when trying to click on menus while setting up, but got used to it and its easy to work with.
