Do not buy this! The price is right for a reason...

The software is buggy, the interface in not intuitive, and the tutorials provide little insight. The minimal set of provided samples are disparate and essentially unchainable. Investing in additional packages in the hopes of having better content will cost you a fortune and is merely an exercise in throwing good money after bad. And for good measure, you will be forced to pay extra if you want so save your creations as an mp3 file.

Even with all that, if it provided anything useful at all to the creative process, I could learn to live with it.
1) There are no song parts like those which were available in Music Creator 6 - Do not be fooled into thinking this is an upgrade of that product: It's not.
2) I had hoped that editing percussion lines would be straightforward, like the interface for Hydrogen: It's not.
3) I had hoped it was capable of laying out the basic framework for a piece quickly so I could focus on other elements: It's not.
4) I had hoped the tool was something that would make recording tracks an easy process without having to fiddle much with settings and timing: It's not.
5) Whatever you think this product is going to do for you: It's not. You will be disappointed.

Want proof?
1) Read past the first few dubious pages of good reviews here and you will find mountains of truth.
2) Go look on YouTube and peruse all the compositions that people have created with this product (Make sure you search for Music Creator 6 Touch) - You can count them on one hand, and they are remarkably unimpressive.
3) The first video on this site featuring the demo song from Portal 2 says, "Music created, recorded and mixed using Music Creator 6 Touch." Open up the demo if you are unfortunate enough to own this product and there's an asterisk that qualifies things a bit: *Mastered in SONAR X2 Producer

Needless to say, I feel misled by the statement that this has, "all the tools, loops, instruments, and FX you need to create, edit, and mix great music." It was a waste of money even at a significant discount. Firing up my old Tascam 2488 in an attempt to do something productive after wasting my time on this piece of vaporware. Roland should be ashamed.

This game is ok, but moves a little slowly at times, especially for some of the repeating dialogue. If you aren't interested in the bonuses for other games, there are better poker games out there.
