Osman Nuri Pasha (Ottoman Turkish: عثمان نوری پاشا) also Gazi Osman Pasha (1832-April 5, 1900) was an Ottoman Turkish field marshal and the hero of the Siege of Plevna in 1877. He was awarded the title 'Gazi' (Turkish for 'hero[citation needed] that have survived a battle') as a result of that siege.

After the War 145-day siege of Pleven 93 by splitting the city, the exit command and injured his defense, but the Russian line of defense in the çarından respect even where strategies have been captured, all the commanders of the period being sampled by the commander of the Ottoman Army. In addition, first discovered the method of digging trenches.

April 5 1900, died at age 68. Tomb, Sultan Abdulhamid II who respects and loves her. Hamid has done. Buried in the courtyard of the Fatih Mosque.
