I purchased this game hoping to have a great night with some friends. After a long, grueling 2 hour battle it was down to just two of us. Now, before I continue, I feel it's important to add a bit of back story. I had never completed a game of Monopoly and thus never won a game of Monopoly in my entire life. Spoiler alert: That still remains true.

Once the third competitor had bankrupted, I had the game in the palms of my hands. I was beaming with excitement and couldn't believe I was finally going to win a game of Monopoly. My whole life had lead me to this moment. As I was adding the final house to one of my properties, the game made us enter a bid as it was the final available house in the game. Once this bid began, the game completely froze. I was unable to press anything. I was given an error message saying it would automatically end my turn in 30 seconds, which I was fine with so long as the game did not end here. 30 seconds passed and nothing changed. The game just stayed stuck there, frozen like an ice berg (pre-global warming). I tried alt-tabbing and, again, nothing. I could feel all life and excitement being drained from my body. After waiting multiple minutes, we quickly realized that this was not going to be fixed. The game was done.

So, in the most depressed click of my life, I exited the game. Inside sources tell me I was then replaced by an AI who also was unable to do anything. Ubisoft f***ed me out of my first ever Monopoly win and for that I will never forgive them. Unless you want to sit through 2 stressful hours of Monopoly with absolutely no payoff or winners in the end, I strongly suggest you steer clear of this purchase. This is unacceptable and, quite frankly, pathetic.
