Not normally a fan of sausage fests, but i am a big fan of this one

First time i played squad i chose AT, I shot a tank and blew up a tank into 10 piece's.

Started cheering down the mic to the squad boasting about how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing that was.

Look up to top left screen to and see a message saying kicked for not apologising on team killing the friendly tank.

I was shocked.

Joined a new server.

Grabbed my ♥♥♥♥ and headed out. Ill check the map to see if theres friendly tanks this time wont i.

15 mins in and im removed from the squad for not following the squad, then realised i had been following another squad of friendly team members.

100 hours in and ive covered everything i need to know now to stay successfully in a squad.

You can be a Lord of an entire town, army and a community!! (Est RL salary 45-55k a year)

You can be a Knight of the round table in shining armour! (Est RL salary 35-45k a year)

You can be a Gaurd or maybe even a trader! (Est RL Salary 20k-35k)

Unfortuantaly im in the Peseant bracket right now. I work in RL for an absolute bastard. On a shover all day long. I fear if i commit to this game that over paid wanker may play this too then make me work even on weekends and evenings AND make me pay for it...

You have to buy the game, which isnt cheap, spesh for EA, Pay again for any character to leave the newbie island (£8~) then commit to a hefty monthly subscription for premium (which IS optional) But if you dont have premium lifes really going to suck for you if you die since you'll loose a hefty amount of those hard worked hours getting up them skills.

No.... it doesnt stop there.... im afraid...

If you actually want to be one of the top players or even have a chance of being something in this game... Then youll have to buy a skill EXP boost every day from the premium shop to keep up with the P2W system. (you can use one a day to get a big old bonus on the skill gain)

Game shows potential but the business plan is greedy and i think its destroyed the game, in my opinion.

EDIT: Someone kindly reminded me in the comments that I had forgot to mention this huge issue.


The fact that beta testers (people testing for bugs and basicly given a couple of months to play the game early) were rewarded their own server, basicly. The right to keep everything they had in a beta without a wipe on release is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Sure people can join but they are all KoS now because all the beta testers are fully equiped and vital resources are used up! That is the biggest load of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ive seen a developer do to date! Also given a skill boost during the beta.

Started up the game

Played a levels and got beaten the ♥♥♥♥ out of by the crazy scientist multiple times. Thought it was time to get off for the night since i had been playing for 5 hours straight.

Found myself led in bed watching life cycle of ants on youtube and colony wars on yourtube documentarys.
