I don't like how Steam treats achievements as a kind of score.. There are achievements I will never get, and have no intention of getting. Master Criminal in Skyrim, for example. It means I was stupid enough to get caught in all five holds. It's an anti achievement.

Lucky for some.

Well... I'm unbanned! Perseverance eventually pays off. Got the obligatory lecture about keeping my nose clean and my underwear changed, but at least I'm no longer an outcast.

Yes I saw that Brandybuck, at a time when spoilers were being posted on FO4 forums after it launched..your post was quite funny and a bit off that you got a perma ban. To be honest I rarely post on forums these days, it's just a nest of vipers out there..awful place. Dont give up trying to get ban lifted, you might with a lot of luck get a reasonable moderator. Good luck with it.

So back in November I made a joke post to the Fallout 4 forum. It was not trolling, it was not spamming, it was not hostile. But I got a permanent ban from it by an anonymous community moderator. I have been trying since then to get the ban removed or reduced, but to no avail. Moderators are not interested in second guessing other moderators. Steam support is not interested in moderating the moderators. I was told by Steam that I must have done something wrong otherwise I would not have been banned. Meanwhile actually trolls and spammers are running unchecked across the forums.

I've come to the conclusion that I will never buy anything from Steam again. I may have to unlock games with them, but I don't have to send them my dollars.
