Yea i mean its pretty awesome. Fun little game for warhammer and table top gaming fans. Really enjoy the business model, if you like the game, support the studio with purchases, which I may actually do. A really great job from Dalen which shows not only a keen understanding of their audience, but also a forward thinking and morally inclined business model.

Keep up to great work! I like it!

Yea its a cool game, really fun seeing huge battles and cool units. Only issue I have is with some of the abilities, such as the nuke and lazer line since I dont really feel either add much. I get its a game about strategy and planning, its just that these abilities dont really require this? its like, where shud I nuke? oh drop a nuke on where the most enemies are. Where shud I lazer? just put it where the most most enemies are. You can block the lazer with shields, but the nuke not so much. I dont like using nukes for this reason, and I have found many really great games are finished with, oh you just destroy all my stuff ok gg. Great game. Bit annoying.

Really wanted to love this game, but I feel its lacking many things which made similar games great. I was looking for a 'Beyond the Wire' game-play experience, brutal combat, bayonet charges, chaotic matches and explosions which turn team mates and enemies into a red mist while their ragged corpses fly through the air.

I feel this game does a lot right, but it just feels a little bland to me. A real shame, as I wanted to love it so bad, its very hard to scratch that WW1 itch in the modern market.

I think this game needs larger servers, dismemberment, the ability to attach and remove bayonet, perhaps the ability to block as well.

Sorry for the bad review, but for me, this game just does not do it.

A little bare boned at the moment but with a strong potential to grow! The devs have shown they are constantly working to improve this game, and are receptive to user feedback. Some good fun, although I do pray at night for a multiplayer campaign...

The Guadalcanal campaign was a game of deception, much like War on the Sea. What would have been an amazing experience is ruined by the terrible AI. Deception is impossible as it always knows where you are. AI bombers know where your fleets are. AI subs find your ships pretty much as soon as the campaign starts. When you launch aircraft, theirs do also to intercept. It feels like the AI has cracked all your codes, which would be cool in gameplay terms, except no. It just cheats. Not to mention spawning in mega fleets out of no where.
Lets not even talk about the interface and micro. For a game which relies heavily on managing units in detail, why is the UI so bad?? Why does even a simple action require so many clicks?? It just hurts.
Your ships are incapable of functioning without your constant attention.
They should take evasive action automatically. Torps in the water? Sure keep going strait!?!
If I sound angry its because I'm upset by this game. It has so much potential and I would love to be able to enjoy it, however in its current state this is impossible... :(
This is a game which suffers greatly from lack of multiplayer. I doubt the devs will ever add it.
It does so much well, but it does even more wrong.

Yargh! Sea of Thieves. An excellent game if you enjoy adventure, swashbuckling, exploration and, most importantly, hanging out with your crew :). This game is very atmospheric and its easy to get totally immersed for 4 hours plus. Play with 4 friends for best experience, don't even bother with the sloop.
Its called Sea of Thieves so prepare to be thieving or getting thieved.

Multiplayer is great but servers are absolute trash to manage. You will know what I mean if you played Civ 5 multiplayer.

Yes very good game, really atmospheric with tons of replayability. The game is engaging and really makes you think.
Dare I say unexpected game of the year?? (its febuary as I write this).
An excellent combination of classic japanese horror and lovecraftian themes. A definite must play!
Well worth the cost.
Does crash a bit tho but thats to be expected from beta.

IF YOU LIKE CALL OF CTHULHU.

I had lots of fun in the early days, with the phrase "I'm sure the devs will fix it" a soothing melody to a some what infuriating experience.

The WW2 aspects of the game, I enjoy. Fighting with friends and relishing in the chaotic excitement of it all is great! After all, isn't that entirely what this game should be about, correct?

I remember on countless occasion, we would be fighting and having a blast, only to see the ominous message appear on the top of the screen... oh, it appears our point has been captured... by two guys.

If this was the exception I could excuse it. However, this game really leaves a bad taste in my mouth since back capping seams to be the rule. The devs have crafted a fun WW2 experience, which is, in my opinion, entirely ruined by Meta which has grown around it.

2 guys sneak around the entire team, using a map which is larger than the players can cover. They do not attempt to fight anyone. They have only one goal. They have only one purpose. TO END FUN. I am referring of course to the back capper. While you and I, people who enjoy a good time with friends, want to enjoy the game, they only receive pleasure from one source. The End Screen.

The sight of their team symbol and a 'You Win!' message causes them to get all tingly and giddy. I assume its at the thought of so many people being disappointed as they are yanked mercilessly away from their otherwise fun game. I guess this is normal for the kind of subhuman, cheeto eating, body pillow cuddling, parent disappointing lowlife that ruins this game.

Where is the fun in NOT playing a game? If your the kind of person who says "well that's how the game should be played, maybe you should get good hmmm?", then I have only one thing to say to you.

♥♥♥♥ you.

Please devs. Make these cheeto sustained mole people play amongst themselves. Us regular fun lovers don't want them. If winning is the only thing that matters to these people, then why aren't they outside getting a job!

An well executed, atmospherics WW2 game play experience, completely ruined (for me), by back cappers, who cheese the game, and who believe that winning is more fun than enjoying the game.

♥♥♥♥ you.
