Thank Goodness You're Here! I was just about to write a review about this game, but I've been rather knackered ever since the bloody giggle-fits I've been gettin' are 'avin' me in a bit of a pickle. My belly's been gettin' a right proper workout! If'n ya' plan on this li'l romp 'ere, I'd think you'd fancy givin' it a bit o' the odd review from yoursens!

Short Game, yes. 2-3 hours casually. Details? You can miss a lot on a single go, so playing it again isn't bad and being thorough is recommended. Comedy? Drier than Meg's Fruitcake. Gameplay? Slap everything. Jump everywhere.
20 USD? Worth it.

The Stencil Joker is such a good card for when you have Negative Jokers. While it can be hard to pull off, it might be the craziest one to find when it is Polychrome or even just Holographic. 9/10 Joker card when you can spin it.

Now all of the negative reviews are acting as a bonus mult for this 1 Stencil Review. Out of the 14,000 total reviews, we now have a x420 mult for the rest of our reviews at this point in time. That means we actually have 5,880,000 positive reviews, making this the most positively reviewed per negative review than Portal 2...

But still not the most overall reviewed game of all time which is Counter Strike 2 at 8,000,000 reviews.

You know there's something good about this game when I actually enjoyed playing it for 9 hours straight like it was a second job. Last time I wanted to play a game that had me playing for this long was God of War 2018. And I put THAT game on GIVE ME GOD OF WAR difficulty.

Now all I can say is: GIVE ME WORLD OF PALS!

Overall, I think this game is a 9/10. Rouge the Chest and Princess Cat are in here but they're both considered to be rich people without referencing a privileged princess and a pick-pocket pauper.

The game is free and I had more fun in this game than any and all games with Gacha mechanics. Buy this game, instead. Worth too much to be free. Bad example of business...

Buy Sonic Frontiers and Support Sonic 3 in Theatres when it comes out.

Whatever you do, do not put this game on GIVE ME GOD OF WAR if you have not played through it already unless you are willing to die 1,000 deaths like you're fighting Akuma from street fighter. Especially PikachuAkuma's Akuma (Youtube).

You are almost always being bombarded by multiple enemies and multiple simultaneous attacks when everything 1 to 2 hit kills you, with niche yet unclear mechanics early game. That warning bar around you to warn you helps as much as Atreus helps his horse in The Never Ending Story... Wait, that's Atreyu. Anyway, I had to cheese EXP early with the luck stat from the kick@$$ free armor the game gives you at the beginning, which also counts that parry quest where you parry like... 100 times. No, I did not do the 99 parry XP exploit. I am a God of War turned Dad of Boy. I went home and became a family man!

The Heavy Cleave Upgrade's invincibility when rushing into your first unfortunate punching bag does banana damage but also can make short work of weenie enemies and slower attack pattern losers if you know when you have time for it. Get upgrades and armor sparingly to save your limited Hacksilver and other resources so eventually you die in 4-5 hits instead of instantly. But also make sure to keep your levels close to enemies if you don't want to look like a grumpy child fighting a world heavyweight boxing champion. It will take you more attacks to kill someone 2 levels higher than you, than the number of words I put into this entire review, but twice as frustrating when you have to kill 3 other sandmans that put you to sleep with their dreamland express that they do at the same time like you've been on an exhausting full running marathon after not sleeping for 2 days unless you huddle yourself into a corner like a trapped rat and parry like your life depended on it.

Unfortunately, you can't always do that especially when they can level up after taking damage which makes them stronger and tankier as if it wasn't enough that they needed unblockable unparryable moves just to say "Move over Dark Souls, we got more frustrations to our playerbase than a 500 ping player backstabbing you when they invade you" which was on a live service that is now dead when you were expected to always have on that you could not play offline as if a single player game needs online to make sure you specifically have all your friends know you play dark souls as if it was some sort of MMORPG with the most empty multiplayer experience to exist.

...get good for the good game on max difficulty, or just play "story mode" to focus on the fantastic experience of this game. Most people that don't like the battle mechanics are wimps if they can't handle it on easier modes. They really are only bad on harder difficulties as it really is unfair and you have to play how the game wants and it feels really restraining. Other than that, pretty satisfying!

This game is what happens when you want to play Binding of Isaac but you don't want to commit to a full run just to essentially gain nothing for an hour because playing as the Lost without the Mitre AGAIN is a challenge that laughs at you until the end of time. This game is also what happens when you want to play Stardew Valley but you want people to do what you want rather than do fetch quests for everyone else to progress, aside from feeding them and keeping their faith up because nothing in life is free. Sprinkle in some Cultist Enthusiasm, a little bit of eldritch magic and just a touch of quirky weirdness and you get Cult of the Lamb.

I find this game pretty chill, if not a bit finicky with some details like the bugs with hanging that happened at first when you rushed rituals before people were ready to come back to the church after already trying to leave because uou forgot to sermon or something, but that has patches that the team does release to fix ongoing issues.

Concerning difficulty, nothing I experienced feels unfair or broken as if there was an oversight and moreso that it would take a very creative and persistent person to perfectly playtest every scenario created by this game's flowchart of gameplay.

This game has a charm all its own unlike any I have seen where it hits the cuteness of Super Animal Royale but the Depravity of Binding of Isaac without being too much of either, like an ice cream cake with enough cake to appreciate the sweet flavor but enough ice cream and frosting to compliment the fluffy texture and make the food have a heavier impact on your pallete overall. There are also benefits to play this on Twitch Streams but I can say that it is not necessarh to fully enjoy the experience.

Buff the bears. Except maybe Gohr.

Okay so I've played no other Monster Hunter game, but from videos online and what monsters even the lore in this game has (Rotten Vale is an area mostly made out of a single monster's rotting corpse which you fought in another MH game.) I understand that this game made a ton of quality of life changes and is a strong basis for more players to come in. I get grinding is a thing in many of the older games, but in this one, you're basically blessed with unlimited pickaxes, not having to FLEX on monsters (Go ask the internet what that means), not having a chance to fail crafting, and also literally being able to buy 9999 potions, especially in events when they're even cheaper. I have 4 million currency and even more just because of all of the parts I don't use and could sell. Monster parts sell for a pretty penny when you farm them. The game-play is awesome and fluid to me, and besides from one or two monsters, every weapon has some viability. Some just have a much higher skill ceiling to be good at using. Just... don't be afraid to learn new weapons. If you REALLY need to bring Dual Blades to a fight with a flying monster, you better know how to hit it without waiting a long, long, long time to hit it again.

All that said, should you buy this? As an intro to Monster Hunter, definitely. Most streamlined one and to some the easiest. Let's hope the DLC satisfies the difficulty and challenge people want while not throwing away the good quality of life changes they made here... EXCEPT WIND PRESSURE RESISTANCE! THAT IS THE MOST USELESS SKILL! (Next to having Scout-fly Range Up.) If you are to fight Kushala Daora, the Elder Dragon of Winds, bring Flash pods or don't use a Melee weapon.

I still haven't beaten this game...
But I can assure you I loved every minute of not knowing what the ending is. I'm like in the year 3,500+
I won't be done until I beat all the hard-mode/remix versions of all the bosses (On Ponce De-Freon now... omg Alexander the IV, though. Kill that boss. Kill that boss with no mercy.) and unlock everything by maxing it.

9.9(10)/10 My only warning is that it is going to be a rage game if you try the remix bosses. And My only complaint is that there's no way to have a Juke-Box at the entrance so you could change the music anytime without having to find the song-changing Juekbox... In a castle... wait what?
