Tried this game when it first came out, didn't really get into it.. Now though I am addicted! Though I reallllyyy wish the 3 main pistols were better.. I am a pistol main in games and it is IMPOSSIBLE to main them on this game lmao

Wow I have a lot to say about this game.. First off fantastic! Not to long nor short took me 11 hours to get each ending! It's really well done very thought provoking, immersive and actually pretty damn hard especially on... HARD.. I had to lower the difficulty while streaming it cause it was too much for me! Medium is a perfect spot to enjoy the game!

First off the starting part of the game you are women working at a gas station for the night shift and everything is super eerie and immersive making you FEEL like an actual gas station owner until the.. main events happen (I wont spoil)

The next parts albeit.. kinda long until you actually play (there is a lot of that in this game I noticed long pauses and cut scenes which gets you immersed but after a bit it does get tedious NGL) When you finally get into the house the game truly starts and gets hard and fairly scary! Going through everything trying to find all the items is very interesting, thought provoking and a very good buildup IMO reminds me of old Silent Hill and Resident Evil games even the UI!

Then we get to the.. "Bunker Ending" It is uh.. Interesting and at first I really enjoyed it! But when you get near the end.. It gets frustrating NGL.. Spoiler If you need help for the Bunker part > For anyone needing help without looking up a guide or videos for it you check the shut down codes by shoving the colored keys into the panel in the room you need to have a disk in otherwise the door shuts behind you.. The codes show up on the wall panel once inserted for each key... The "left to right" note vaguely tells you this but gives you no clue as to WHERE this is applied too...

The Endings... NGL the endings are kind of quick and leave you hanging a bit to dwell on "what now and what next.. that's it?" and IMO aren't that satisfying but the whole rest of the game is an easy 10/10 for me very enjoyable and reminded me of old classic ps1-ps2 era horror games!

Picking Analog/VHS style games for my streaming marathon and I gotta say this game was a breath of fresh air for this style of games with a really decent story the game play could be better but it's more than passable for what this is! Game isn't really upright scary but the atmosphere horror is there and my one major gripe with the game... It doesn't tell you (unless i didn't.. see it?) how to fast travel which there is a TON of walking in this game so my only tip is look for the telephones at key spots in the game that is how you fast travel! Saves SO MUCH time...

I am completely shocked by how good this game is and how much detail is in it and just how in depth it is. Do not let the graphics fool you this game is damn good! There are small tiny details to the point if you are in a couple's house you can figure out which one sleeps on a specific side of the bed by checking fingerprints and matching them with the person's stuff on that side of the bed.. Small details like this are what MAKE this game SO great for a detective game! You can buy your own apartment and decorate it, do side missions like small investigations or making arrests rather than only doing the main murder cases so much more! Every npc has a life and actually does stuff and it just blows my mind how a game this simple looking is so complex, in depth and such! Picking this for my Analog/VHS marathon for streaming was a 10/10 pick easily becoming one of my new favorites! How ever the main gripes I have with the game so far Is guns.. NPC's get guns and almost every single one will have some form of firearm with them or at their home for defense and you can BUY a gun AND ammo for it.. but you can't use it like you think.. I don't understand why that is a thing and I find it silly, granted it does make sense for how the game is but still.. Also not a fan of how you arrest people and It is kinda buggy feeling especially if you are in their apartment.. You can say "I am arresting you" and they respond with "no you aren't!" and It sometimes doesn't complete the "arrest" even though they are IN HANDCUFFS for the arrest I've only ever had this work when the npc's admit or allow you to arrest them.. soo that's a thing.. a minor one also when you get an enforcer specific job to arrest someone or even with murder cases you can get in trouble with the enforcers for doing your job lol feel like that part is overlooked.. literally my only negatives with the game atm but It is not enough to keep me away!

Not playing this game again until PSN account linking is optional or what ever couldn't even play the new update before this was announced so I have no input on the new update!

This game is fantastic and is one of the first horror games I've played in the last few years that is actually intense and has gotten me with a couple scares on stream. The monster's design is a little cliche looking but the way it acts really feels like it gives me alien isolation vibes with the xenomorph it's fantastic. The physics in the game and moving stuff around, breaking stuff, blowing up doors in different ways and such is such a good idea and I love it in games like this the last game that had something like this and did it well was Prey. My one issue I have with the game so far which isn't a major one its quite minor actually but the lights through the generator which costs FUEL it honestly doesn't feel like it effects the monster at all when at the very start of the game it says it DOESN'T LIKE LIGHT and so far neither the flashlight nor the lights from the gen seem to effect it much. It doesn't stay "aggro'd" on you for long MAYBE that's the only difference but its not much it feels like and the fact that the generator needs fuel which is a resource you can use for other stuff makes me not wanna even have lights on ever to save the fuel for other stuff. Other than that minor issue this game is a solid 9/10 everything else is great so far!

This game... I really wanted to like it, i gave it enough chances but it's just boring... nothing happens you walk to a place you read a ton of stuff with meh alright not bad, not good acting and then walk some more then an enemy comes at you and its super easy to deal with them and it's just tedious.. the whole game is just a bore and them charging $35 for this is criminal. I don't even recommend this if it went on sale tbh I recommend getting Amnesia the Bunker for a ww1 horror fix if you are looking for it.

My boyfriend and I's first run together was a 6 hour run, gone through close calls and cool asf moments and we were doing pretty good. We encountered a DOOR in a dungeon and us both being magic users... Have NO strength and we couldn't break the door down and died to failed attempts of breaking a door down... 10/10 amazing game xD

Fantastic one of a kind game with a long story that keeps you invested. Besides the bugs, optimization, the issues with newer more modern pc's having issues running the game without workarounds and the multiplayer being left abandon this game would be an easy 10/10. If you just want it for the singleplayer however, easy 10/10

Consistent crashes in cutscenes, bongwater boss fight crashes a ton to where its not playable. Don't get it at its current state atm.
