You are correct, the update has indeed fixed the microphone issues along with the connectivity issues. This game is ready to be enjoyed by everyone who loves puzzles and figuring them out with their friend!

This game is stunning, the sheer immensity of it compared to the previous games is very impressive. Total Mayhem has done an incredible job expanding the world they built in the previous two games (both of which I recommend, heck one of them is free, give We Were Here a try just to see if this series is something you'd enjoy).

As for enjoyment, this game has it in spades as long as you are adventurous and enjoy a good puzzle. The graphics are wonderful, no doubt your first reaction will be, "Oh my gosh, my feet are so cute!" Don't be ashamed, most everyone I've played this game with has had that reaction (I did too XD).

Without giving away too many gameplay spoilers, this game isn't always the easiest to figure out, sometimes you just need to step back and listen to your partner as they describe the world about them again, most of the time that will give you that connection that will help you both solve the puzzle!

I highly recommend this game and I do appreciate Blazy013 getting back to me about the updates!

Sadly, I had very high Hope's for this game. It looked very creepy, the game had decent graphics, the premise has promise and all in all, just looked like a good horror game.

I am sad to report it is a walking simulator through an old, creepy-ish fair ground. There are attempted jumpscares, but they just seem to fall short and as others have said, when the story really is starting to get interesting, the game is over...

I purposely spent extra time in the game, trying so hard to find more to it than the walking simulator it sadly turned out to be. I was disappointed this game did not stand up to the hype it gave itself.

If you're looking for lightweight creepy, this is your game. If you're looking for an actual horror game, look elsewhere.

Worth every cent!

I'm generally a Steam Sale patient gal, but with this game, I couldn't resist, I paid full price and I don't feel the slightest bit cheated. This game is amazing, the fear is real, the environments are creepy, the animatronics are very interested in YOU.

Short and sweet of it, paid full price, was not disappointed, do NOT play this game if you're easily frightened.

I for one have been following this game since its IndieDB days, having watched both Markiplier and LordMinion777 enjoy this game and have been looking forward to this game appearing on Steam since it was Greenlit.

I have not been disappointed.

This game is even more beautiful than the original, there are numerous improvements to the graphics, to the flow of the game and not to mention even more surprises hidden about this unique landscape.

One major improvement has been the save points, they are placed in various locations throughout the game. A step in the right direction in my opinion, as not only do I wish to experience the correct path in the game, but also experience each of the wrong paths as well in order to see everything this game has to offer for scares and creepies.

Now for the technical side.

I have NOT experienced a single issue with saving, loading, or any of the gameplay in general. No errors, no crashes and no unexpected shutdowns. For an Early Access Game, I cannot express properly how well done this first release is. The only errors/issues I may have experienced are already known. Muddy textures that correct themselves after a few seconds when you first start up the game and a few spelling errors in some of the notes (Alters which are supposed to be Altars). Minor issues all in all.

For all the bad reviews that have been put on this game, I must admit, in my own experience with the game, most if not all of them are false.

I recommend this game to anyone who's interested in an immersive and unique fear experience and those who understand that this IS an Early Access Game.

PROS:
-Immersive Experience
-Gorgeous Graphics
-Unique Effects
-Not your traditional jumpscare filled horror game

CONS:
-Minor loading issues that are already known about
-The landscape is so well done it is very easy to miss a path (Not a major con, just means you have to pay closer attention!)
-Would LOVE to have a way to mark which paths I've been on. (A way to mark the ground with a stick or the like. Again, not a major con, just a minor addition that'd make it easier to explore.)

I highly recommend The Cursed Forest and look forward to the next chapter that is to be released/added to the game.
