Very fun game with a tons of promise! A great turn based tactical game that offers lots of options for how to approach combat. From going in loud from the start, focusing on melee, stealth, hacking, and a good selection of different weapons to pick from!

Plus the devs are really active with very frequent updates and responding often the games Discord.

Overall I highly recommend the game and it's only getting better over time as more is added

This game has been an absolute pleasure to play. From the early demo to the recent content fix! Not to mention the dev team has been extremely open and communicative with everyone.

Not to mention fully supporting and encouraging modding even from the earliest Demo!

Edit: In the months since I made this review War Thunder has shown that not only are they willing to admit there is an issue and have been taking serious steps to improve almost all areas of player concern. This is highly commendable and appreciated. Especially with how War Thunder has stuck with those improvements and has continued to roll out additional QoL and progression improvements since the out cry.

It's really good to see that War Thunder does take their fans seriously even if it took a LOT for it to sink in. It's a sadly rare thing these days with most game companies just doing crappy things and then releasing say nothing sorry notes.

Years ago War Thunder really was quite a fun game. I was even one of the early testers of tanks when they were first being added and I have many fond memories of the game. And the games high fidelity damage and flight models.

Sadly though the progression system has always been painfully slow nearly to the point of being entirely unworkable as even with a premium account getting to even the first jets or the early cold war tanks would take forever. Even worse instead of improving this over the years War Thunder has just added more and more higher tier tanks with higher and higher costs all the while making it harder and harder to get enough money to buy or even repair & resupply the vehicles.

Many years ago I would almost for sure recommend War Thunder to my friends. These days though unless War Thunder does a near total overhaul of game costs and progression don't bother getting the game and for sure don't pay or support it. Which is a shame as the game has a lot of potential and fun with nothing else like it out there.

A short and really touching game. Both very enjoyable and moved me to tears.
I would highly recommend this game to anyone. As the description says it is about an hour long but it's an hour very well spent that will stick with you for a long while :)

If you like Skyrim or Fallout this game is right up your ally but with a far more fun and varied combat system and VASTLY less repetition!
