They released along side OverWatch which was a horrible move. Everyone assumed this game was a cash-in on OverWatch hype, if they even heard of the game. At that point in time everything was about OverWatch Beta, how amazing the game will be and how it will revolutionize FPS. It may not be a popular opinion but OverWatch is slow, boring, very poorly balanced, and the level design is unimaginatively horrible (they have zero sense of game flow and objective design).

If you were able to wade through Blizzard's wall of OverWatch noise to find this gem of a game you soon realized that BattleBorn is nothing like OverWatch beyond being a First Person Shooter. First off BattleBorn is an MOBA based game with emphasis on laning and pushing minion waves. It becomes immediately apparent that this game is NOTHING like OverWatch, again beyond FPS.

I wish 2k had waited a few months to release BattleBorn and allowed the OverWatch hype train to die down a bit, drawing direct comparisons sunk this game before it even had a chance to float. Luckily for us the game is F2P, unluckily it took then over a year to recognize something that should have been changed on launch. If this game were to have been released F2P I wouldn't be surprised if it had garnered a fanbase similar to Paladins (which really IS an OverWatch clone!!!)

As it stands the game is fantastic, a bit busy and maybe a bit too much to grasp for the first hour or two, but beyond that there is a lot to like here. The artstyle is straight from Borderlands, and the colourful commentary will get you snickering as you dispatch your foes. I really enjoy the game, I just wish more people had gotten a chance to experience the game a year ago!

The game devs are adding new Gods and constantly updating the game. It's a fast paced MOBA/3rd Person Action game with multiple game modes for everyones tastes.

The only thing you have to lose is sleep.

I wanted to enjoy this game soo much but the horrible camera control ruins the experience completely. 7/10 for gameplay but 1/10 for controls and camera.

ONLY PLAY THIS IF YOU HAVE A CONTROLLER IF NOT SKIP THIS EXERCISE IN FRUSTRATION

One of the worst games I have ever had the misfortune of seeing on special. Avoid this game, the weapons don't even seem to load for some reason. I couldn't be bothered after that.

Classic is back, and with some new content and a lot of fixes/tweaks it's better then ever!
