The game is definitely not for everyone. But I personally think the game has came a long way from when it first released. I despised the game and the developers at release. But after giving it a shot this month, and the new update coming Sept. 3rd, I'm truly enjoying my time playing fo76 again. Plus the community here is great, everyone is helpful. If you enjoy the fallout series, this game is worth trying and playing. The only thing I'll say is be prepared to get the fallout 1st subscription. If you can't get it, I'm sure it's manageable, to an extent, but honestly can't recommend playing without it.

This game is one of the best games I've played in a long while. I hate that there's a server wipe at all. Also I hate the phase system, as I can't do anything until the next week after I've completed each region that's available, already. It's very disappointing to see an mmo like this, have a season system like diablo. It makes sense for hardcore pvp players. But for casual pve players, THIS IS NOT IT. I could see myself restarting once before being burnt out having to re-progress. Until they get rid of server wipes, and season phases, I'm leaving this bad review as it is. Respect your players times devs, and you'll see a ton more players sticking around. Tons of people already stopped playing because they find out there's a wipe. Hurts me to even have to leave a bad review on an amazing game like this.

Edit: I noticed that the devs responded to someone else about the 6 week wipe, us pve players don't want a wipe at all. Keeping blueprints and sending materials to eternaland is nothing and not a compromise we're looking for. I would like to keep my levels, all my deviants, I want to keep everything and I mean EVERYTHING I've grinded for. An optional reset is cool. But a forced reset? It's just not the move and lame. People should be able to play the game how they want. Not under forced timelines. Again it makes sense for pvp for balanced playing fields. But for pve, there's literally no reason to force it. You can still add content keeping people involved in a game without resetting what people have done. Come on guys. A lot of people don't even realize there will be a reset. Once that 6 weeks hits, a review bomb is waiting to happen. Please, please, please change how the pve servers work. I will change my review immediately if I see an update that I can keep all my things. If not, as a lot have already said, this will be my one season I play, then I'm done.

Found another review about not wanting the wipe and the devs respond with, they respect their players time, letting players keep blueprints and materials sent to eternalands. Deleting my characters levels, deviants, base, map progress, while just letting me keep blueprints and making me buy my materials back that I EARNED is just laughable and beyond the opposite of respecting my time. Feels like this is just a strategy so they barely have to put in effort in the game, "new content" is resetting your character to just play and do everything all over again.
