This game is an instant classic in my book.

The pixel style graphics suit this game perfectly, as it is a retro styled twin stick shooter with the twist of it being a roguelike. All of the weapon types are somewhat balanced, although there are some modifiers which are clearly better than others. Each of the floors and the bosses that appear on then are unique and have their own bullet hell patterns to dodge. Monolith may not have the slew of content that other roguelikes such as The Binding of Issac and FTL have, but for only $8 it's hard to put down such a pleasant experience.

This game will rip your heart out.

While the writing can be cringy and the facial expressions can be somewhat bland at times, this is an experience that nobody should miss. The music is fantastic and it can bring out emotions that you wouldn't normally have while playing a video game. Not only is the story lengthy, it's also incredibly detailed and does an amazing job of building the characters within it.

Great concept and good game. Too bad the devs are sellouts.

At the beginning, you get some ♥♥♥♥. You use that ♥♥♥♥ to kill ♥♥♥♥ to get more ♥♥♥♥. It's free and it's awesome.
