This game has potential, but it has a fatal flaw. An optimal solution. There is guide for it in the community section. I have 3 recommendations to fix it.
1. Make all researches have a mean time to happen instead of set time frames. I hope this randomness make optimal solutions harder to pull off.

2. Make policies harder to implement. I have no suggestions how to do this but simply political power is to easy to come by, Not suggesting making it more scarce but something has to be done.

3. Make parliament more influential. The optimal solution barely even thinks about parliament. Probably try killing to birds with 1 stone by integrating parliament more with policies.

In the game's current state there is no replay value. May be back in the future if this gets fixed.

Oh and one more thing. Navigation might be a little broken
1 Dragging sometimes stops working
2 Arrow keys can't put things in the plan
3 Arrow keys sometimes stop working

this has quickly be come my favorite game. lots of stories came out of the 200+ hours I've played this.
