in the Minions movie it is said that the minions serve the evilest person, if we assume that by ”the evilest person” they mean evilest from western civilization’s point of view, it means that among other things, the minions crucified Jesus, served Attila the Hun, raided monasteries with the Vikings, caused the Bronze Age collapse, and many other past calamities , however in 1812 the minions are trapped in a cave and don’t leave till the 60’s which means that they couldn’t have served hitler or Stalin. When they do leave the cave they eventually enter the service of our hero, Felonious Gru. They then serve him until 2017, when they enter the service of his brother, Dru. That means that the Evilest person between 1960-something and 2017 was Gru. Some events that they could have been responsible for include; 9/11, the assassinations of JFK and MLK, Chernobyl, and the Vietnam war. How and why Gru did this we will never know, and maybe that’s for the best
