It's a sweet time waster. You do get locked in on 20 minute "days" with no way to save in between, but it's relaxing yet has enough action, storty and variety to keep you engaged.

Loved this one the most out of the monster prom games so far! The humor really suits this format. It's like a boardgame, really fun to play with your friends when you hang. Dating elements are less prevalent and even losing feels like winning with the fun outcomes XD
Next stop: the magic location. I swear we'll make it.

This was one of the better indie games I've played so far. You're a voiceless lady wielding a blade full of interesting powers in a very colourful film-noir setting. The blade narrates your process together with some terminals and info that comes with the blades powers. If you're not much of a reader (which was me, sorry, not in the right mindset for that rn) you'll probably miss a lot of info, meaning you'll spend the first few hours (!!) running around killing things without really knowing why (then again most of the info seemed to be on side characters I had no bond with so... maybe not?). Even by the end of it I'm still not entirely cristal on what was going on here. The design and battes really make up for a lot of that though.
The blade allows you to pick and mix all sorts of abilities that allow you to pick apart your enemies during "turns"
The turns pause the game and give you some time and space to line up your next attack. They're fun for strategic thinkers and overall just challenging enough to keep you on your toes. There are some very interesting power combo's in there that'll make the playing field light up with explosions. Very bad ass.

+ Fun battle style
+ Short and simple names for enemies and powers, I found them pretty witty at times.

- Fuzzy storytelling
- during the last few battles you mostly face the "man" type enemy, a shame they didn't switch that up a bit.

Also... I kind of have to wonder /why/ they made Red voiceless. I mean, come on. Could've made for some great banter and given the character some personality to boot.

This game is fantastic. It sets up a great antmosphere and the dialogue feels so natural!
Even if you're not much into scary games I can really recommend this. It doesn't employ jumpscares but instead uses the deep rooted gut feeling that something is very /very/ wrong.

This game is just plain silly, which makes it so very very great. I recommend it to everyone who enjoys silly humor and tragic backstories :')
