The story of a brave group of survivors, desperately waging a war against the air surrounding a group of hostile aliens.

At least I assume that's the story, since that's the only thing my soldiers can seem to hit.

Really though, the main story seems more concerned with referencing the first game than actually being interesting, the UI is worse than the first game plus slow--loading to boot, and the game is generally a glitchy mess.
