Plays and feels like Paragon. Couldn't recommend more.

Vindictus has Best in genre Action-Combat and it's not even close. It's a shame the systems surrounding the game-play are as predatory as they are, because the combat in this game has not been replicated or surpassed by any of it's contemporaries.

Sidenote: While FATIGUE is an annoying, useless mechanic, it is completely and totally mitigated by your account having VVIP status. VVIP sends you consumables to counteract fatigue depletion at the top of every hour, every day. You may think VVIP would be locked being some kind of premium subscription, but the game gives out VVIP status like candy. As a completely free to play user returning to the game, my account currently has 3 months of VVIP, and between now and then an event will undoubtedly give me more to extend it even further. So don't let the negative reviews dissuade you if you're only worried about not being able to binge the game, it's very possible and the devs support it through events.

Otherwise, it's a korean-grinder that comes with all the problems the genre is plagued with (RNG, P2W, etc.) The early game is an easy-mode shell of it's former self, and online resources on the game are so sparce/outdated you'll have to be prepared to join a Discord/Guild to learn anything about the current state of the game. However, the population is there and most people are willing to help you get caught up to speed. Once you do, the gameplay loop and satisfaction of clearing later raids, getting drops, and improving at your character is well worth the time invested.

Game is broken, servers don't allow you to progress. Can't play more than 1 match online, can't get experience, customization doesn't work. Save your money and run. I'll change this review when it gets fixed.

I've played this game for more than 100 hours before Steam launch.

The leveling is a bit traditional I admit, but give Wildstar a chance if you've looked at it in the past and uninstalled, the game has been through hell and back fixing what it did wrong.

This is the BEST Free to Play MMO on the market. Some would argue Guild Wars 2, but that it is a "get the biggest group of uncoordinated people you can and smack something for 20 minutes to grind mastery points" kind of deal. Wildstar is an amazing game with attitude, fun, challenging group content right out of the gate, straight laugh out loud moments, the most expansive housing system on the market, and aim and dodge combat. (Also has one of the most reasonable F2P systems in recent memory.)
