If you're looking for an MMO that respects your time investment, feels rewarding to progress, and doesn't force you onto a gear treadmill every new expansion then I highly recommend Guild Wars 2.

Well we've been wanting it and we've finally got it. Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Killing Floor 2!

I myself LOVED the first Killing Floor and it seems i'm going to love the second even more. One of my friends had graciously given me a copy of KF2 digital deluxe edition and after kissing his feet and worshipping him as a god I proceeded to install and play KF2... And boy was I scared. I thought it best to try and go solo my first game to get a feel for the new mechanics. Now I like playing berserker so I knew this would be a bit easier on my behind with the extra vaseline already in place to negate some of the damage and pain away.

I readied up after choosing our main man DJ scully and proceeded to quickly crap my pants as zeds began to drop from the ceiling and from around the corner with me not remembering which button was to change between melee weapons. After clearing the first wave a familiar trail led me to our lord and savior the trader, or in this case the trader pod, where I proceeded to simply buy armor and get a fresh pair of pants. then came the second wave, I was ready... or so I thought. Armed with the "instantly turn towards the zed that is grabbing you feature", the zeds constantly grabed me and gave me slight jumpscares as I attempted to RUN, which is now a new feature as well, and swing my way to the next wave.

a couple waves later of crapping pants and getting new pants I was finally on the boss wave, armed with body armor, extra vaseline, and my new waifu the Pulveriser, I awaited the arrival of the most feared enemy known to man... The patriarch. Except It wasn't the patriarch that spawned in. it was a being just as terrifying and his name was... Hans Volter! armed with nerve gas, grenades, machine guns and the ability to grab me and suck my life away I despreatly attempted to run, heal, and pulverise him to pieces as he chased me through the labs.

Finally It came to a showdown, he was red all over, near death, and I had 30% health with no armor and a few spare shells left in my waifu. We both charged at each other, I swung and he lunged... my hammer had reached first, blowing his head off and an achivement popping at the top of my screen. I threw my hands in the air and cheered as I had conquered the first of many levels and still had some vaseline left on. which brings us here, as I tell you that my experience with the game was amazing and that it's still the same killing floor we all know and love just with much needed new features.

Personal Rating: 10/10

Definetly try to pick this game up if you are a fan of the original. If you're not then I would say an 8.5 or a 7 out of 10 is a more fair score as some people may not like simply surviving waves of Zeds.

But you can't deny the unique weapons these guys come up with. Although I'm pretty sure i've seen the shotgun sledgehammer from somewhere else...

This game is fantastic, gameplay is nice and fluid, 8-bit art style looks great and don't even get me started on the soundtrack. overall I give this game a 10/10 not just because i'm a nice guy, but because this game is pure fun.
