Possibly the best RPG ever released. A giant sandbox to play however you want, with multiple ways to handle each situation encountered. If you thought Divinity Original Sin 2 was a great game, wait until you try this one. Good story, companions that you will care about with interesting backstories and personalities, vast array of classes and races (and sub classes and sub races) to role play as, huge set of skills and spells to play with, gorgeous visuals and animations, challenging enemies and it's just getting started...This my friends is a masterpiece. Do yourself a favor : buy it and play it.

Marvel fan's biggest dream come true. Great visuals, a really fun turn-based-card-based combat, quite a passable story, progression that you can actually influence and feel at your own pace, each hero feels powerful and unique, has tons of customization and exploration. Still not convinced ? It has Deadpool joining very soon :) And a cute dog. And a cat. That you can pet. And get bonuses for doing it :). Also you can flirt with and get friend-zoned by every hero in the game.

Great game, a combination of mechanics from many popular games like X-COM, Divinity Original Sin, Darkest Dungeon and others mixed with its own good ideas like the morality system. Decent story, great characters if you like Arthurian universe and medieval knights, excellent armor representation and good class selection and customization systems. Armors in particular look great and the style of each class is different and satisfying. Combat is brutal and tactical, each class has its own strengths and weaknesses, although i feel like the game is favoring ranged classes a little. Graphics are quite simple, the tone is rather dark but style is nice and unique. Anyway, if you are a fan of strategy turn based games, it is really worth buying right now even if it still needs some more content (some new classes, enemies and skills and maybe more diverse loot and deeper customization) and polishing.

Great TBS / RPG game, one of the most fun i have played in the last years. A pleasant surprise and worth the full price, but if you can get it on sale, even better. The humor and constant jokes about (but not restricted to) RPG and adventure games overused stereotypes is something that i personally enjoy but there could be some of you who would find it a bit annoying. The battles are very serious though and you need to think and use the characters and their synergies really well to win. The classes skill trees and loot system are very well done and you can get a lot of builds to try and have fun with (there is a respec potion available so you can do it anytime). Overall a 8.5 / 10 game, has its small flaws and sometimes the RNG will not be nice to you but i think it is one of the few games that does what it says really well and doesn't bite more that it can chew,

In my opinion it could be the Game of the Year 2020. Very complex but easier to learn than other Paradox Games, this could be your entry point into Grand Strategy games world. you can write your own piece of history starting from a real historical kingdom. Basically it is a sandbox without winning conditions in which you can be any kind of ruler you wish to be and do whatever you can do to ensure your dynasty will rule your lands for centuries. There are also light RPG elements in form of skills from different lifestyles and there is a "Create your own ruler" option too ! Also gets better with every update and still has lots of content to come.

Age of Wonders in Space. Civilisation and XCOM's child. The game can me easily described like this, but truth is that it is a very enjoyable 4x with some really nice innovations but still limited on the grand-scale of the campaign map. Factions are truly different only in battles, the structure of any campaign will be quite the same no matter what faction you will play. But this is by no means a deal breaker and the probably quite a few DLC the game will get will solve all these problems.

After many many years finally another good FM edition. It is a must buy for football fans from all around the world. Aaaand yes, it has VAR in it and it is as annoying as it gets in real life. :) So go on, manage any team you like the way you like it, you can do it easier than ever now !

One of the best TBS / RTS hybrid games with RPG elements. It has everything a fantasy fan would ever want : dwarfs, orcs, goblins, elves of all flavours (good, bad, neutral), vampires, pirates, lizardmen, dinosaurs, giants, trolls, beastmen, rats, zombies, dragons, skeletons, monsters, giant spiders, ghosts, syrens and above all brave humans who are trying to survive in this crazy world. It is true that you need to invest quite a lot of money to have all these factions to play as, but they exist nonetheless in the world and will be your enemies or allies regardless how many DLC you will choose to buy. Magic coexists with swords, war-machines and guns, lords and heroes have an RPG-light progression defining their roles and paths. All factions play and feel different and many of them have unique mechanics. The campaign map is where the turn based strategy takes place, and whenever a battle occurs you will be taken to a detalied map where you will comand your armies and clash with the enemy RTS-style. The attention to details given by the game creators is outstanding and the animations are great and unique for each unit, lord or hero.
TLDR : This game is a fantasy nerd's dream come true. Play it and you will get to live your childhood fantasies of saving the world from evil or saving a princess from the big bad orc(s) or dragon(s). Or just burn the whole world yourself. Or let others decide the fate of the world and just go on a search for some hidden treasure (s) or artifacts. :) You can do almost anything in this game and be whoever and whatever you want. The only limit is your imagination.

One of the best modern TBS games. Better than the predecessor XCOM:Enemy Unknown on many aspects. It has deep customisation of soldiers, gear and weapons, specialization RPG-like skill trees that offer variety in your team composition, freedom to develop your global and missions strategy, many enemies with different patterns and strategies to combat with a large array of weapons and gadgets that you will research and develop.
And on top of that, if we talk about War of the Chosen DLC, we have three difficult enemy bosses, with dynamic strengths and weaknesses, three resistance factions with their own hero-like soldiers for you to command, mission modifiers that will impact your strategy, covert operations to send your soldiers on and gain experience and other rewards, also resistance cards to choose and draw bonuses from.
My opinion is that every TBS or just military strategy games fan needs to play this game and have it in their collection.

This game has everything you could possibly wish for in an RPG : tactical challenging and fun combat, classes and skills well designed, beautiful world and deep lore, great story, excellent companions, deep and meaningful choices and dialogue, funny stuff and in the same time things that will make you sad, good loot and crafting systems.
I refuse to think there is someone who really loves good games and wouldnt want to play it. I might need to warn you though that you WILL need dozens of hours to finish a playthrough, so it is not really suited for casual gamers. But you WILL love almost every minute of it.
