Awesome game, get a group of your friends and have fun

So far it's a great game. The physics engine makes everything intuitive. I've had fun without too much of a learning curve. The amount of monsters and speed of the game don't make it "too much" of a hack and slash and the leveling and skill tree make it a true RPG, and you can do things slower 80% of the time if desired. The variety of weapons is great.

The only con is that it's still early access :) The Devs just need more time to bring in an increased variety of monsters, and hopefully some different environments.

Just an awesome game... It even holds up after all this time. I was playing it while waiting for XCOM 3.

I do recommend this game. I'm a age-old D&D fan, and the flexibility of this game to make the character you want, change classes, vary weapons, etc... it's just awesome. The dungeons and combats are much more unique than most other MMO's I've played (still not as great as solo games where you are the center of the universe)... but hey, you can play it with friends which is cool. I was worried about the reviews, expecially the costs... but some of the posts are dated and no longer accurate. For instance, it doesn't cost any $ to level up. I'm now about level 8, and finally blew $35 on the game and don't really plan on spending more... that might mean I top out and don't get to the highest levels, but I don't plan on playing more than a year. If you do go the Free to play option, I highly do NOT recommend spending any $ until you get to be level 6 or higher.
