Just the perfect bite-sized bit of number-go-up I was looking for. Doesn't take longer than an hour and the pacing makes it so there's always something exciting right around the corner.

I didn't realise I needed a break from the standard Persona trappings of school life and relatively lower stakes (at the start anyway) until I played this. Absolute blast from beginning to end.

Better battle system than Persona too as it lifts the press turn system from SMT. Archetypes do end up blurring the character's identities together somewhat as they just become stat blocks but the flexibility it gives you more than makes up for it.

If you're a fan of turn based combat at all I'd highly recommend.

It's more Elden Ring and it's glorious

A fantastic compact experience, I've no complaints other than I want more.

Story-wise it was pretty disappointing compared to the first game and this game's version of "Invincible Rainbow Arrow" is.... pretty painful to listen to. Still was a good time overall and I enjoyed being back in this world again.

It's SIMPLY THE BEST

Pure dopamine, only wish there was more unlocks/achievements to go for.

Never thought I could get into CRPGs, but after bashing my head off the Pillars 1 intro about 3 times it finally clicked. And my god did it CLICK.

If you have any inkling you'd like CRPGs, do yourself a favour and play these games.

Was hype for this from the trailers.
Pretty disappointed that it's essentially a forgettable small/mid sized "ubisoft game" with it's main strength being interesting monster design and theming.

It's *fine*, but not worth the 50 pound it's charging in my region. wait for it to be 15-20
