Want to love it like I did Exit 8, but I gave up after 15 min and refunded it.

Its almost unplayable because of the poor optimization in the game, even on lowest settings its a slow sluggish xperience that need not be and wasnt there in their first game at all. Seems like a lot of ppl have this issue so its not just a Linux/proton issue.
The motion blur is a huge deal in this game too, no matter if u tick the option on or off, its the same.
Its also super hard figuring out wth to do, how to avoid the anomalies and where to go, because there are zero hints and its not the same as in the first game where u just have to spot them.
How to avoid them? I tried a lot, I couldnt passs them they always caught me, i couldnt enter any doors or go back??
Im sure there was a tiny hint on the floor or wall somewhere to find to clue u in, but this was insanely difficult to spot if so and this just wasnt fun.
If the graphic optimization and motion blur wasnt such a big problem in this game I might have stuck with it untill I had figured it out, but its too anoying to move around like that.

I loved Exit 8, and bought it for this reason thinking it was similar, and I guess it is a bit. But its a rushed and badly made followup in bad quality graphic and performance wise, to harvest benefits and hits from their first games success.

If they optimize this game and sort that motion blur out it might be worth it tho. I did enjoy the few anomalies I saw and it was scary as well.

Do not buy simply because u loved Exit 8.

What a truly great little indie platformer with a good story too.
Loved everything about it but wish it was longer!
I listen to his YT channel all the time so imagine my surprise when I found it it was the same guy lol.

A lot of parts reminded me of the game The Swapper, which has similar vibes and style and is a great underrated unknown game, be sure to check that one out of u liked Sheepy!

Ty for free game!
The price is unfair because its free and shouldnt be, it deserves an income lol!
I normally buy soundstracks/supporter packs if I like a free game a lot, but sadly the soundtrack here is a wee bit much just for that. Make a supporter pack for 2-3 euro something like that :)

Very decent point and click hidden object puzzle game with a decent story too!
Underrated, it deserves more attention tbh.
It takes a few hours to finish if ur focussed enough and are gd with its riddles.

Some puzzles in the end were too hard, I had to use the hint option. That specimen colour with the chart board puzzle was whatwhat?!? and didnt make much sense other than trying the various numbers in the right order, which would take a while without the solution. I skipped that one. But otherwise good puzzles all around!

The story was decent, some part of it I didnt like, that whole predisposed part so that made him immune thing, but all in all a good story and good game for the genre!
It deserves more attention imo!

The price is fair enough.

Decent short horror game.
Take the horror tag lightly tho, while I screamed at the end, the rest is a slow walking simulator and not scary as such.
The text message thing was a gd touch I loved getting those as u progress.
Takes about 30 min to play both endings.

Very dark/poor visuals, u can barely see anything in most corners and there are no options in the game, but its maybe part of the scenery. Still felt like it was too hard to see sometimes tho.

Ty for free xperience!

Enjoying it so far, still have lots of lvls left to xplore tho!
Its a coxy fun game where u leap around to find all objects, some light combat and fun jumping high in the air making sure not to miss the islands.
You can play it so u loose progress on each map if u die ( u have 3 hearts and loose one if u get hit by creatures and Mr Ugly Face, and u die if u fall down outside of islands.
Or you can play it where u dont loose progress, and u can change this in settings any time.
Controls are simple and straightforward, there is just movement on wasd, jump on space and using mouse for camera movement and combat.

The mouse input does (still) not currently work on native linux, but it works using proton.
Everything runs smooth and no issues at all.
The only negative I can mention is the music. Its a cozy game u can sit and relax to with some piano music, but that piano music is too much after a while and I now have music muted (only game Ie ever done that in btw!). but maybe more/different music come later on, or in later maps that I didnt get to yet. But Im not a fan of the music personally, so put ur own on instead if u like:)

Great game, ty for giving it for free!

WARNING:
You cant rebind keys!! This is incredibly gamebreaking in a game such as this.
Want to use shift as ur usual sprint key? Forget it, use ctrl instead. Want to use something other than x that no normal person use? Forget it. etc.
If ur desperate enough, or just a dumb pushover, u can edit a config file using a guide and hope it works. Which it appears to not do for most/a lot of ppl, let alone most Linux users whos folder is not in the same place as the guide. Im not even gonna bother with it as this should be a default option in the game.

Watching this game on stream I can also tell that its not as good as the ratings imply, they are highly overrated.
This game is frustrating and the purpose seem to be wasting ur time. The save mechanic is a further sign that they jsut want to waste ur time and take the fun out of it.

Oh and the CEO(s) of the Moon Studios GmbH has had a lot of complaints and reports from his employers, who describe him as toxic and treats them unreasonably and just downright bad.

Pls do NOT support this game or this company and find another game to play that isnt designed to treat u like the utmost waste of trash.
But ok u cant really expect much from microsoft can u..
The review ratings are NOT accurate, they are highly overrated and probably not what they seem. but thats just 'guesswork' ofc..

Decent and unique concept, but it appears to be broken/not working right everywhere for Linux/proton users, maybe for all users im not sure.
The audio was missing sometimes, at one point u need to type in some solutions to solve the puzzle (which was what huh?!?) and it was a random input because it didnt make sense, and it accepted 4 gibberish inputs as the correct answers lol.
Then about halfway in I went to bed, but apparently u cant save so that was over an hour wasted.
I cba finishing it now.

Ive tried to get into this game on and off but I always walk away after a bit.
Its got the worst, absolute worst, interface/inventory system that makes it clunky and frustrating to use, take and drop items.
Dont get me started on crafting and building, its tedious and dont work well in this game.

Exploring is also frustrating and too dangerous. The enemies are unforgiving and way too hard. You can barely get past ur first nights sleeping in the wildernes without dying to poison or starvation or thirst, and it hits hard and fast.

Its a building survival game for hardcore players only, not the casual survival crafting nerds imo.
Want to love it but I cant.
Looks great and has nice voiceover tho!

Great Half Life extension to the original game, and while not as good as the main games it holds its own is def worth playing for any fan!
A bit frustrating at times but all in all good.
