Apart from convenience like storage space, etc. You can give most of the cash shop items a miss. This is not any much different from POE, at least it is cheaper.

It is easy to understand and gasp. Takes little to no time theory crafting and immediately running that build. Want to spin in a gigantic whirlwind? Want to do that but shoot lightning? Want to do that but summon a meteor while spinning?

If you play other games I am sure you are not surprise to find a paying element in the game. If that is what puts you off, then I do suggest not trying it. In my opinion given the game is free, spending a good 10-20 bucks on convenience items feels no different than buying a complete game at the same price point. Similarly if you can spend 30 bucks renewing your game pass, i dun see why you can’t spend half of that amount and having equal fun in this game.
