Yeah, how should you describe Terraria. Starting with nothing and exploring your way up is probably the best way.
Its a beautiful game, which shows you, that you don´t need a good story for a good game. Just grab a couple of friends and enjoy the fun.

To be honest, at first I was a bit sceptical about what Terraria has to offer. You usually hear the common voice saying, "Oh is that the 2D Minecraft game I´ve heard about ?" Well no, it´s not. Terraria has it´s own part of adventuring through the world. The game itself is beautifully desigend and locks you in with the 8-Bitish graphics, music and atmosphere. But if you look behind the curtain, its a game that heavily punishes you, if your not doing it right and always tries to let you keep going, cause you wanna see whats coming up next. Which items can be crafted after you defeated the boss, what new biomes are unlockable or what kind of enemies are waiting for you in it. It has an inovative way of keeping you going. Terraria is one of these games, that keeps you craving for the new update after you´ve finished the new one, so my recommendation is. Definetly give it a try, but as I said before: Grab some friends, it´s way more fun like that!
