I am loving this game so far!

I love the pixel art animation, I love how each area has its own unique hue aesthetic and ambient music, I love how fluid the controls are & how well done the hitboxes are, I love the character given to each of the supporting robot cast, I love upgrading Haiku with different chips on its motherboard, and I just love exploring this derelict world of Arcadia!

A very welcome entry to the indie metroidvania genre (:

The number of spoilt kids complaining about lack of Ultra-Wide Support alone is enough for a good review.

But seriously: rich, expansive world; variety of viable play-styles; interesting and self-motivated characters; amazing visually; and whilst a lot of the dungeon bosses lack inspiration, the mainline bosses are some of the most memorable in the series. The online multiplayer is a lil janky as always, and preventing itself from the vast potential the PvP actually has to offer; as well as some balancing issues, but otherwise a lot of fun.

It's a good game. It's fun to explore Zeta Halo, and the fights don't get boring either. Multiplayer is, I think, very well implemented (despite some of its early speedbumps).
It just suffers from the series' poor story-telling we've had since Halo 4. Halo hasn't had a coherent serial plot since the original trilogy, which is very unfortunate given how well the game is in other aspects.
