Great work here. The DS games are ported beautifully and play better than ever, and Haunted Castle Revisited (first legit new Castlevania game in many years) is awesome.

Very impressive game overall with a great look, well told story and solid gameplay fundamentals. Slashing, shooting and parrying enemies is quite fun and the puzzles and bosses are cool. I do think the game bites off a little more than it can chew with its many mechanics. Between the time limits, stamina bar, weapon upgrade and crafting systems... it's all a bit much. I think some pruning may have been wise. But the sweet ending makes up for the stress. Looking forward to the studio's next game.

Exciting, emotional, beautiful. You have to play this!

Good fighting game with good netcode. Gets you to the fun parts of the genre more quickly than other games because you don't have to grind execution and stuff.

The small movelists teach beginner fighting game players to focus on making correct decisions, but as a result the gameplay can feel "scripted" against similarly skilled opponents in my experience, though it's by no means easy to beat strong players. Graphically the game performs well but the character models and animations are awkward and could have used a stronger artistic vision. I feel that the game's public image would benefit hugely from friend matches as a free feature, but I understand the devs have to charge for something, and locking characters would be worse.

Overall a game I'd recommend heavily to both fighting game fans and non-fighting game fans to try out. If fighting games haven't worked for you in the past, this one might just click with you.
