Tomb Raider 2013. To be perfectly honest, my expectations for this game weren't too high, so I passed on the game when it was first released. I later got it in a Tomb Raider Collection sale, and checked it out just to see if it was any good. To my surprise, it was actually a very solid game. It incorporated RPG and sandbox game elements with solid platforming and shooting gameplay, not to mention it looks absolutely GORGEOUS. There are generic shootouts behind cover, epic sprawling setpieces, and fun exploration sidequests for the completionists. The story is good, if a bit outlandish at times, but some of the acting leaves a bit to be desired (namely, whenever Lara attempts to sound badass). The only real complaints I have about the game are that there's too little actual tomb raiding, at times the games tries too hard to be Uncharted, and the game's "final boss", if you can call it that, is disappointing and extremely anticlimatic. Otherwise though, this is a fantastic game.
