Just finished it on brutal diff. and i am amazed at what a game it was, made by one person!!! Could not stop playing the bloody thing.

Janky as all hell in many places but amazing feels on many lvls.Looks great in open areas due to attention to details but bad in closed spaces where it lacks some details and lighting feels off.

Map design is great tho homage to HL 1 and 2. First few lvls inside labs are kind of a letdown but the moment you get topside its great.

Gunplay feels amazing! Many times i felt like i was playing the good old horror mods for Operation Flashpoint!!

Do not play it on max diff. lvl on first try like i did as enemy spawns are HUGE! Games has amazing OST which i just now bought and cant wait for a sequel if there ever is one. For this price its 9/10. Its a labor of love for sure.

This is a review for Cossacks European Wars and Back to War which is a STAND ALONE expansion for which you can get "Campaign expansion DLC" that gives you all previous campaigns and mission from European Wars.So just get Back To War.

2001 the greatest year for PC games to me! I played my first true RTS gaming love called Cossacks European Wars! This was my own Age of Empires game if you will (both are comparable as day and night). This game was so amazing states the fact i played the damn thing on monitor that did not properly support 800x600 resolution ::P so i saw 3 screens of the same game LOL on my old ass monitor i had 3 mouse pointers in front of me ::P but i still played and loved every moment of the game!

Period from 17th to 18th century is my favorite of human history. From finding of Americas to Napoleons defeat. This game has fantastic Cossackpedia where you can learn of all important wars and events that happen in this game. As each campaign has nice summery of history behind the events you shall play in fantastic missions. Just remember lots of text await you.So if you are afraid of reading you can skim past all that and go to gritty stuff. Remember that this game holds no hands!! Read you objectives and REREAD Msg. you get. The game has Upkeep for everything so you have to be on your guard in certain missions. Main menu alone needs to be praised as its something you dont see at all anymore, it has so much personality that even sadly Cossacks 3 main menu doesn't have >.<.

Now unto graphics and they are amazing, you can see reflections of ships in the water or the fine detail on buildings.Every nation has its own look from units to buildings its like little miniatures on tabletop with smooth animations that go with them which is attention to detail that you dont see in 2d RTS games. You can press "U" during game to see details of selected units from its upkeep to its upgrades really amazing stuff! Its clean its not in your face annoying again something you dont see in games and also in Cossacks 3 >.<!

Music bloody amazing unique with lots of feels that go with certain nations.You can choose to have random tracks or nation specific track to play during your game.You can check them out on YT.

Sounds of weapons are strong, powerful and scary as ♥♥♥!!! Roaring of cannon fire from the enemy towers when you try to sneak in certain missions still scares the crap out of me.The sound of seagulls when near water areas is so nostalgic for me.Buildings have their owns sound effects so they become memorable.There are few RTS game that i can say have real ambiance and this is one of them.

Now i already did more detailed review for Cossacaks 3 and really that same review will apply here. Cossacks games are masterpiece of RTS genre! I advise the entire GSC RTS library of games as they are all amazing.

Cossacks 3 is return to form for RTS games! Game is made by sexy GSC (which closed their gates many years ago and now came back from the dead with force)! I have been and always will be a massive fan of all GSC games since very first one, Cossacks 1 Europeran Wars! 2001 was the greatest year in gaming (Sudden Strike, Returne To Castle Wolfenstein,Gothic 1, Empire Earth,Clive Barkers Undying,Operation Flashpoint etc.)! C1 was my Number 1 RTS game of all time (Empire Earth 1 is my 2nd ::) but now thanks to the fantastic job by GSC its C3 now ::) My vids are here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAKvZCY4-Qc thats where you are gonna learn a lot about my love for this series and GSC.

Now i dont do reviews and all that crap but i do talk ONLY about amazing and unique games that CANT be found anywhere else. GSC RTS games C1 C2 C3 AC HoAE are games meant for people who want something more in their RTS games, something that tells you that its not your standard thing you saw so many times from other devs, a clone of a clone! Cossacks series is a classic RTS game BUT with few unique things!

Upkeep for you troops, buildings and firepower of your battlestations!! You want 5 more peasants!?!? Well you need food to buy them and food to feed them! You want those musketeers to open fire on your sexy evil friend? Well you need constant supply of coal and iron! You want your massive ships, towers, cannons, howitzers and mortars to bombard the enemy? Well you need coal iron and GOLD!!! You want walls to keep you safe from those evil Zergs? Well you need stone and wood in massive constant supply!

Nothing is given for free in GSC RTS games you earn it with hard work of your peasants that can be captured by your enemy! YES, you can capture enemy howitzers, cannons, civilian buildings and your hard working force of killer beezzz! One nations workers CANT be captured as they fight to the bitter end! ATM we have 12 nations like in pervious C1 EW game, in time if all goes well for GSC we shall have even more sexy nations with their own specialitys and units.

GFX are amazing in this game i have no complaints! Models are sexy so one can fap on them if need be! Texturs are sharp as ♥♥♥! And above all THERE IS A MOTHERHUMPING COLOR IN THE GAME!!!! Im so tired of todays gamers who only like gray color in games or call games with color cartoons >.< (warcraft, starcraft those are cartoony games). I love color and this amazing game has it! And i love it for it. Building models as always are amazing and now in full 3D! The attention to detail by GSC is marvelous as ever! C2 is their BEST looking 2d/3d game! GSC knows how to make a proper art for their games that will look amazing in eons to come! Animations of units is sooooo smooth! These guys went and took C1 and put it into C3 3D engine and nothing feels out of place! A PROPER HD REMAKE!!! Its as you remember it but fresh looking!

OST!! My god music is bloody amazing! Better in every way then C1 OST (which was pure sex back in a day)! When i first heard Sweden, Ukraine, France tracks i was like "Studio Ghibli's music feel ahhhhhh perfect" >.< The Prussian defense vid with that amazing battle soundtrack is fap worthy in every way!!

AI and Missions! Ai is amazing (HARD AI ATM i am playing with) IF you let him alone for a bit! He tries to outmanuver your ass every chance he gets (likes to use cav for raids so watch out) Also loves to BORG your ass by taking your own workers and expanding his empire! Battles can massive! (look in my profile for PICS of 3h battle 4FFA). Lets be honest tho AI will never be a human player BUT as i am SP only persona i love it in every way until i figure out how to destroy him on Impossible >.< Then its all GG bye, bye AI. Also AI doesnt love water much, so there is that!

Missions in the game will vary (like in C1)!From those that i played they felt free! And what i mean by that is that you dont feel a linear path you must take! Sure you get what you get in the mission (you cant build this or that) but you FEEL freedom. Mind you to me thats another thing sexy about GSC games is their missions might not be the longest (mind you there are huge amount of difficulty settings so depends on a player) but they have a lot of small things you can find on the map to help you out if you look for them! There is also a lot of text in the game to read IF you want! I advise you to do so! I always loved that about Cossacks! No dumbing down of anything for mainstream players of today. It just shows their lazy butts! Mind you for VO you need a lot of money and it should be better spent on important stuff!

Last thing bugs and stuff! I have seen horse people get stuck on edge of bridges in campaign ONCE and in MP i could not form a squad (early hours/days of the game mind you)!!! I had 2 crashes (Mouse Pointer Error) and thats about it!!! In MP i never had a crash but my friend did on loading! If there are more that I find ,you will see them being mention in my vids on my channel.

Anyhoo, Thank you GSC for keeping that smexy soul which made your games so unique like STALKER and C games ::) Demon loves you and thats all you need to know! I love unque games and games made with love! This is one of those unique games that doesnt fap to mainstream gamers! All best Demon!
