Don't Starve is a great game.

Don't Starve Together is a horrible, terrible, bad game.

Day 1: Noobs take all the flint, pick all the flowers. If you join 5 minutes late, good luck chopping a tree down in the first week. Make a bird cage, someone picks the bird out of it, and eats it before dying, then they drain your sanity as a ghost. Almost dead? Make some food, wait for it to finish then die in front of the crock pot as someone else takes it. Need rocks? Too bad, someone already made a giant wall around the base. Added bonus: You can't chase away the hands when you get low on sanity. Current playstyle: Hoard grass, hoard flint, hoard gold, hoard everything, then die, leave, or just sit on it while others have nothing. Make a beefalo pen? someone will kill it, eat the meat. Oh, and don't forget the frog rain. Say you have 5 people in the game. One noob decides to attack a frog, and they swarm, kill them, then another player, then another. You, being the prudent one now have 3 ghosts draining sanity, rain draining sanity, frogs draining sanity. I'm sure you were ready for it though right? No gear? HEY GUYS LET'S FIGHT THE MOOSE GOOSE WITH NO GEARZ. Lead it back to base, so the one with no gear can help. Enjoy your sanity drain. Are you Wigfrid? Everyone kills those pesky bad stupid useless spiders and bees, so now you can't get free and easy sanity and hp boost from fighting them. Playing this game is like being dropped in the woods with 5 random idiots. They are the challenge.

Great old-school NES Capcom feel. You'll like it if you like Bionic Commando and Megaman.
