As someone who has been riding for 18 years I can say that this is the most realistic sledding game to date. In terms of realism I'd compare it to MX Bikes. Not as steep of learning curve but there is a learning curve. One stick leans and the other steers. Counter steering with leaning will take some time to master but god is it fun. You can actually side hill and carve, its great. Price to content wise it is not worth it. I currently see this as a $19.99 and it may be boring to some playing solo but with friends I can see how hours could go by and you wouldn't even notice. We have a big update coming on March 29th which I am beyond excited for.

All in all we finally have a proper sledding game. Price is high for what you currently get but WE FINALLY HAVE A PROPER SLEDDING GAME so I 100% recommend this.

Squads framework in a WWI setting does not work well. The graphics feel dated, so much that I maxed everything out and the trailers "game play" portions still looked better then when I was actually playing it myself. I have over 2000 hrs in Squad when combining Stream release and pre steam release and I can say Beyond The Wire just does not do it for me.

If you want a fun arcade style WWI game then play Battlefield 1. If you want a more realistic approach then play Verdun. This game is not it.

If you are a modder and what to get a jump start on your own mod or learning the engine for Arma 4 modding then this is 100% worth it. If you are someone who just wants to play a new Arma game and wants to get the Arma experience then it is not going to satisfy you. It really is that simple.

They took a game that was easy enough to make it super fun and addicting and turned it into a super slow grind that is not enjoyable. Don't get me wrong the grind was there in the beginning but it was fun, even in my top 3 games of this genre. The game was the perfect balance of difficulty and grind. Now that is gone.

We waited 7 months for an update and this is what we got. An update that 90% of other indie studios could have pushed in 2 months or less. The Dev team started off with just 5 people. They made over 100 million and only managed to hire 5 more developers for a total of 10. At this rate it feels like they are working on the game 2 days of the week. Anyway I can not recommend the game in its current state.

Besides Monopoly this is the next best thing that causes trust issues among friends. 10/10 would throw my friend under the bus again.

Been playing since the first Closed Alpha

If you are someone who likes competitve shooters such as CSGO then you need to give this a try, it is pretty much Promod with some COD2 influences. There are some day #1 connection issues but that is to be expect, I mean AAA titles have them so this game is allowed to aswell.

Pros

• Good foundation to start with
  
• Devs who communicate and listen to the community
  
• Not a whole lot of bugs

Cons

• German's uniforms blend in a little to much with certain maps
  
• Kar98 is dangerous even in the hands of a mediocre player
  
• Game didnt really go in the 100% direction which was portrayed in the Kickstart

The kickstart kept telling us that we were going to go back to the good ol' days of COD2 and that time period of gaming so that is the kind of game I expected from gunplay right up to movement. What we got right now is COD4 Promod with some influences from COD2. Not really my cup of tea but I am slowly liking the game the more I play.

Just beacuse I am on the fence about how I feel doesnt mean I will not reccomend so BAM, I do reccomend this to anyone who loves a competitive FPS. There is only one way for BATT44 and that is UP!

So 6.5hrs in and since Black Ops 2 that is the most I have played CoD. Loving it so far and the devs are actually listening and changing things based on the comunitys wants and wishes. Multiple things have changed since the Closed Beta for consoles and I can see the changes here in the PC Beta.

I see a lot of negative reviews and some of the hate is just things that are unrelated to Call Of Duty, things such as:

- No 40 man servers(trash game)
- Only 12-16 guns in the beta! I DO NOT recommend
- Red Dot sights in WWII? WTF

And the list continues.. Someone whos been around since CoD1 I can just shake my head and think, CoD has never been about 40 man servers so why expect it, ITS A BETA they are not going to give you every piece of game content, stop wanting to be spoiled and red dots YES! when was CoD ever trying to be a realistic shooter when it comes to the MP aspect. I can't do anything but shake my head at these reviews. People come just for the sake that they want to see the game fail and try their best to do so.

I for one am having a blast, nastaliga is just smacking me in the face with boots on the ground WWII combat. I'm loving the game but yes there are cons, its not perfect.

Cons:

- No dedicated servers
- Hit detection could use some work but there's lots of time left for a fix
- Not a fan of the "divisions" but w/e its not a game breaker
- Soldiers screaming locations and random jibberish

Pros:

- Visuals look good
- Kill streaks are not over powered
- Spawns are the best I've seen yet(very hard to trap a team in there spawn)
- For once it doesn't feel like a port
- BOOTS ON THE GROUND

All in all I am loving it and WILL buy the game when it releases.

A lot of people who LOVE the game with over 80+ hours finally reviewing because they are but-hurt.

To clarify the micro-transactions are only temporary and they have no effect on the balance of gameplay so I could honestly care less. If anything they will make you get seen quicker so if you want to pay some extra cash for that then go ahead.

Game is top notch and I have already gotten my $36.99 worth. I honesly feel like with a price tag this low its a steal. Easily worth AAA prices when the product is completed. It's really strange being able to say this about an EA game :/

Use these steps:

- Grab some friends
- Everyone use their best English or Pirate accent
- Run around the boat not knowing how to play exactly
- Get blown to pieces

After just 2.1hrs this is beyond addicting. Will do a proper review after another 5+ hours.

My first ever review so bare withe me..

I was very skeptical about buying this because I hate cartonish and scifi games. Even after 3 of my friends telling me how amazing it was I still held off for over a month contimplating if I should buy it or not. I sucked it up and said its only 21.99CA so whatever I'll buy it. After 20 minute I was hooked. Not a bad amount of content for its current state and it can only get better. Well I am 5h in for my first try and I need to take a break before this controls my life.

Too many positives to write so I'll just add one con, no mulitplayer but hopefully it comes sometime.

9/10 worth the price it is right now hands down!
